Using Dedede in tournament play

This weekend is SmashCon and I going to use only Dedede. What are some tips for using him competitively? I know I will be going up against many a Sheiks.

Not to be rude, but you should really just look through previously made threads for information about how to play Dedede. Information is everywhere. We all do our part to make Dedede as viable as possible in a competitive setting.
