Was going to edit my last post, but I've never tried double posting before and I wanted to see what it felt like to be a noob =P.

Just a side note, I promise vids in the next 2-3 weeks.

Oh and coincidently, I will be starting a guide to Yoshi's defensive options soon... Will probably take a while.

you´re not the first one who said that i would have a too aggressive gameplay XD
but i LOVE it to play like this! ^^
i know it´s not really wise to play such an offensive style, but in tourney matches or clanwars i would never play like this^^

anyway, thx for the comments, i´m looking forward to see your videos ;D

p.s.: i´m going to post more matches against prinz ^^

p.s.2: i´m no english champ, sry XD

I'll try to get an SD card next semester so I can show y'all some videos of me in action.

Are we capable of posting videos of ourselves fighting the computer players?

I'm thinking about making a Vs. CPU section of the thread, but it usually doesn't constitute a legitimate match being that computer players aren't really on the level of competitive play.

Well, it might be good to make that section since some matches against computer players might be worth watching.

Well, I wouldn't call some of my matches against level 8 and level 9 computers "pro", but they're still good.

I'll just have to wait until the end of the Summer to post them. *sigh*

okokokokokokokokokokokokokokokok.......... If you're gonna post a vid of yourself playin a CPU and callin it pro, then you really need to go to a tournament. CPUs are not and will never be as good as a human player. Sorry for the bitter truth, but it has to be said.

I never said they were pro material. I saw the "Vs. CPUs" section of videos in the first post, so I thought videos against the computer players were accepted as long as they're worth watching.

Oh yeah, I already did this once.

I'll post 'em in Vs. CPU, but I highly recommend doing your best to play friends or acquaintances, otherwise you won't progress skill-wise.

I don't think vs CPU matches are worth anyone's time, they are almost as bad as online matches. The computer doesn't use ATs, doesn't adapt to your playstyle and is very predictable. So what's the point?

The point is, this isn't a "tournament only" Web Site.

I don't have a problem with people posting vids Vs. CPU, because learning to fight computers is just another part of the game. Nobody's forcing you to watch them, and the people who want to learn strategies for fighting the computer might enjoy them.

People can still learn how to improve their core gameplay by playing computers.

Put up the vids. It's better than nothing at all.

I strongly disagree. What playing computers does is makes them a very mechanical fighter, something that Yoshi has a huge problem with already. It also cause people to think that a combo could work on someone IRL since it works well on computers.

And who here plays only against computers?

So, you'd rather not play, then play against computers when there are no humans around to face?

As I said before, it helps you improve. Whether you pick up bad habits, depends on the person.

First, I never said people play only against computers.
Second, you're right, I usually don't play a multiplayer game alone, if I can't find someone to play it with, I won't play it. The only time I do play alone is in training mode working on different techniques. It does NOT help you improve when you can hit a computer in the air every time because they don't air dodge, you don't learn how to react to an airdodging opponent. Same with shield-grabbing, punishing laggy moves, projectile spamming, and pretty much everything else an actual player will do. So yea, I'd say putting up videos of a CPU match would be a waste of time. It's like saying I'm gonna put up vids of me 3-stocking my 4 year old cousin, even though he can't hold the controller.

As I said before, this isn't a "tournament only" web site. People play Brawl for different reasons, and if someone wants to spend time learning to play against computer players expertly, it is not your place to tell them it's a waste of time.

enough bashing, just let the guy put his footage vs a cpu up. nicalobe is right that u CANNOT improve by fighting computers. that said, if u were trying to adjust to melee from brawl or brawl from melee, fighting computers is a nice way to relearn the physics. computers are only good at PSing and spotdodging

Sweet. I'll look at them when I have the time. I got a tourney later today, but I gotta wake up at 7 am to help my sis with some stuff. So, I'ma be tired as **** there (time to get some no dose!), but I'ma still get some vids recorded so you can get some quality vids of my Yoshi (DRing more often too since I've gotten more fluent in using it) playing.

Got a few new videos.

Vs BigLou (Luigi)

Vs Desu (MK)

I have a set against Rayku (the lucario player) where I was really close to winning after somewhat implementing a different playing strategy against him for the first time. I'm gonna try to get those videos uploaded (it was saved on someone else's Wii) cause they'll porbably be the most exciting and intense matches you've seen (except the last one. I'm calling controller johns on what happened).

Matches coming at you live feed son. Got the set against Rayku. I already know I made many mistakes in there just after watching it for my first time. The last set is where my controller got me screwed and failed to input my shield, but it's whatever now. Enjoy!

And to note, this set was soo intense that I couldn't hear ANYTHING (not the noise from the tourney, the music from the game, nothing). This was probably the most fun, and the most challenging matches that I had out of my whole brawl career (despite all the screw ups).

You always has something against me lol

I don't want to get judged I just want someone to acknowledge that I posted some vids and maybe watch them.
