Ways to land a zair

I'm a new Toon Link main, and I'm slowly getting the hang of his playstyle!
One thing remains a problem to me though, and that is making practical use of his zair.
I've never been much of a Link player, so the whole feel of it just kind of...stumps me.

Can you guys lend me a hand with any situational uses, or setups for it? Please, and thank you!
