What Type of Equipment do I Need?

Hello, all. I have questions about the required equipment for modding SSBB (not the wii). I couldnt find the answer on my own by searching the forums or google.

I just want to know:

• What type of Wii do I need? I heard that the newer ones won't change the skins in SSBB, is that true?
• What type of SD Card do I need? I heard that some don't work.
• Also, is there certain version of SSBB needed?
