Which Omnislash is better?

Not talking about cosmetics here-although v5 is certainly cooler looking imo. What I'm curious on is, do they actually differ in damage output and/or kill potential?

They're the same in terms of knockback and damage. The one difference between the two is that one of them will send enemies at a different angle, and the other launches at a fixed angle. I can't remember which does which, nor can I find the video that highlighted this. The bottom line is that there isn't a significant benefit either way.

Both are Almost Identical but The final hit also always launches bystanders in the same direction as the opponent caught by the move, unlike the default version.

I concur. Version 5 is much better for this reason alone. Plus, I just love Cloud's Advent Children costume!
