Whistle Invulnerablily frames...

I don't know when to use them... It seems like anytime I could, it's better to switch to the offence.

Use it when recovering. It's generally better than an airdodge against single-hit attacks.

The whistle does not have invulnerability frames, just for clarification. It's actually super armor. I'm assuming you already know the difference between invulnerability and super armor.
