I vote for Dedede's shield grab.

My friend says he votes for Dedede's shieldgrab, too.

MK's Mack Tornado: Blocks most projectiles while charging at opponent.
MK's IDC: must I say anything?
Game & Watch's Oil Drum: absorbs many attacks & stores it for an uber attack

Mach Tornado - Has high priority, unless you just shield or shoot a laser.
IDC - Banned from competitive play, not a defensive tactic.
Oil Panic - Has a good deal of ending lag, only absorbs energy attacks, can be reflected back, if it's filled up, he can't bucket brake.

None of those are good defensive mechanisms for reasons stated above.

The absolute best defence is Bowser's Fortress.

And I also like how he said "While charging at opponent."

Didn't know that was a defensive strategy.

Um.... 3D's shieldgrab is a defensive tool that's far more useful than the rest of the TC's list of tools.

Snake's grenade dropping/shielding isn't on that list?

Why don't we just forget the voting now and continue the discussion :)

I don't see Game and Watches bucket used very often.

You mean their Bat? Not really, it's an attack, it may have defensive capabilities but I don't call it a Defence move.

I wouldn't call any of the moves you listed defensive.

Other than Dedede's shield grab.

Wow I'm starting to wonder about your opinions. How is a shield not defensive? I'd love to hear the evidence you'll give me.
