Is there a 2v2 with anyone mode? If there is do I have the option of bring someone a friend with me as my teamate or do I have to just fight with any random noob they put me with?

I'm pretty sure that you get stuck with a random partner...although when you're with friends I assume you'll be able to pick and choose the rules and teams you both play with.
