I am wondering, (and i sure other people are to.) will there be a new supper smash ?
On the same note, what will it be called, how many veterans, how many new comers, and the big question.

Nintendo did make a poll on their official website that asked if players wanted a new BRAWL game, which could be a hint to a brawl sequel. By brawl sequel, i think they mean just that. (new subspace emissary and down loadable content, etc.)

However, I was wondering why you want to know this, and why other people want to know this? Brawl came out..what.. 5 weeks ago in North America? It hasnt even been released in Europe yet..

SO, i think we shouldn't be focusing on a new game already when we have hardly scraped the possibilities of Brawl. Who knows? maybe since wave dashing was removed a new hidden technique messing with the game's physics was added? theres lots of things to learn and explore in Brawl that we havnt uncovered yet.

The only reason for a smash sequel was if Brawl was a complete failure and Nintendo had to quickly realease a new smash game to make up for it (i.e. call of duty 3 sucked so they had to quickly make call of duty 4)

So stop worrying about a fourth game and just try to enjoy the present ones for a while

use the search function, ive already seen twenty threads identical to this. but to answer the question, of course they are going to make another smash, not only is it a great seris/game but also it is a HUGE money maker for nintendo. They would be stupid to not continue making smash games.

I think to be reasonable, a Smash game would look reasonable on the Wii in about 4 to 5 years from now. Most people want a sequel on the same console, so looking at how its a competition every decade with new generation consoles, a Smash game would look good in that amount of time. It takes about a year to to two to do a sequel, so yeah, we could start thinking about it during or after 2012.

With a sequel, not a new game at all but a sequel, meaning just additional content and almost invisible tweaks in mechanics, we should see a new SSE storyline, new characters introduced to the fray (with Brawl and the pattern we are assuming thanks to people who noticed it, it seems 15 newcomers are to be expected at the most), a better online system, more items and stages, maybe more Stage Editor parts, a few more games added to the Chronicle and Masterpieces section, and a possible chance of DLC if a Wii external drive is made.
