I'd honestly be disappointed if that's all there was to it, lol. I want them to tell me they really made holograms or some ****.

Every older movie said we'd have hover cars n whatnot by 2012. Best we got are iPods.

i liked the concert though. great performances from everyone. 50 Cent ripped the stage though.

Also props to Kendrick Lamar with the recipe.

goddamn man, Basedprint Volume 2 is solid. Nearly double album of quality, no gimmick tracks. It's astounding to me that Lil B is still going so overlooked and left for crazy. He is stepping up his game even more. God's Father alone, should have been enough to get him respect, but then there's White Flame and Basedprint 2 which are all very quality mixtapes all released this year.

Then #1 B(tch as well! Guy never stops making music, I love him.

anyways, here is a medley of different songpieces from my upcoming solo project EP. There isn't really any hip hop in these clips (though there will be some on the EP!) but I thought I'd show you guys a bit of my messed up brain.

a warning, it's pretty weird stuff. I am using this solo project as a means to do literally anything I want without regards for what music is "supposed" to be. There are many samples ranging from Thom Yorke to cartoons to porn actor orgasms but I don't really use samples in a hip-hop style too much. Anyways, let me know if any part of it catches your ear.

I like it, Feels like I walked through a theme park that looked good from the outside and became very eerie but as I continued to go through the theme park i relaxed a bit and was able to enjoy everything unexpectedly. If that makes sense... But yea, I like it... keep up the good work pimp...

Eww bruh.

Anywaysss.. there's a ***** doin it better than the Raider Klan.

His name is Lil Ugly Mane. Which is a terrible name, I thought he wasn't even a real rapper but yeahhh he is.

He is the physical embodiment of 3 6 mafia. Seriously.

both of her albums have their fair share of bull****, but i love her energy (the sudden, maniacal voice changes). and every once in a while she delivers with a solid 16

I'm sorry. I stay underground. Most of my rappers get buzz like 4-5 months later though..

Like Ugly Mane got mentioned by Tyler yesterday. Which sucks cause OFs fanbase is gay (I'm an OF head but **** them *****s think OF KILLS the game.. no).

Do you guys think this is a good instrumental to sample? I can get your feedback?
go for it dude. any sample can be a good one, it's all in the execution. don't be afraid to really **** with it and change it if need be though I don't think it really needs a WHOLE lot of change. Just some added percussion and probably a slower tempo would make it a good fit for a rap verse. Or even just changing the key of the sample can really change the mood and make a different experience out of the whole thing.

to me that's the difference between good artistic sampling and lazy sampling. the experience should be different from the original song in some way.

speaking of interesting sampling, I really like this simple but genius thing Lil B did

yeah, he just reversed the Wiz/Alice Deejay beat...but it's ****ing beautiful. I like it more than the original even if it took less effort to create, and I think it's impressive to rhyme on beat to it because the rhythm is obscured when the bass drum and hi-hats are reversed like that
