Most of these came from this fat kid who used to go to this video game club after school. Personally I try not to ever make excuses, but my friend is full of them.
All of his excuses are reasonable, but also not my problem, so in essence all excuses are useless, any way :
'You only won cause I SD'd 1/2 times, feel good about that?'
'I wasn't trying, notice I was laying down?'
The latter excuse actually is true, but why make an excuse any way.

That's legit, I played a match with green mario a few minutes in my controller broke. pushing down on the joystick didn't work anymore. Everytime i'd try to recover with Ganon i'd warlock punch down the hole.whats the worst excuse you ever heard because someone lost at smash.mine was"my controller doesn't work!!!" after like 5 mins into the match.

I always counter act that by playing one match without Advanced techs. Its quite easy as you still own the s*** out of them anyway
As for me.....
"You only win because I havent played in a while" he doesnt get any worse from the time gaps, if at all, he gets better.

I can see where you're coming from. All new players or non-competitive players think Marth is broken (from what I've seen).
