I've no idea who she is or if she'd be in houston for thanksgiving. That sounds fine, I'd really appreciate it and like to make it to it.

Smash Wii U How lame would it be to buy a Wii U just for Smash?

Because that's probably what's going to happen, and I'm wondering how much I'll hate myself for that. Anyone else in this situation?

    Christopher Hitchens has died

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-16212418 Now I know that some people think he's arrogant, and sometimes he is a little much, but dang, he is just too smart. And there are some clips of him that always manage to brighten me up. I'd say rest in peace, but I think he'd disagree with that premise...

    NPR: Liberal Bias?

Eh, I wouldn't call Stewart or Colbert's shows biased. Sure they're both liberal, but they're fair and aren't supposed to be impartial news people. I think they assume the viewers know that too, and Colbert is particularly satirical in his approach to his material. MSNBC is obviously...

    Movie Talk!!

I saw it for the first time a few days ago too. I laughed so hard when they started singing that song and the crowd started cheering and they were like. . . What? Awesome soundtrack overall, too.

The 2012 Presidential Election: Who do you think will in?

Ooops I meant that as in, obviously he's not perfect or even necessarily good at what he does. I personally am in the middle for opinion on him, but think he's better than most people in Washington has good intentions, which I believe counts for something.

The 2012 Presidential Election: Who do you think will in?

Ughh. And the candidates cater to them so much, too. You know, though it's probably an elitist thing to say, I don't really have faith in the American people to pick good people for office. It's bizarre: no voter comes up with a good answer when asked what they'd cut from the federal budget...

    Movie Talk!!

@Peeze That seems a bit high? Examples? Haha I mean I'm not a critic worshipper but I generally agree with stuff. And sometimes I check rt after I see movies. Not a site I hate but people should develop their own opinions. :) @Nine-Tailed Assassin Hard Candy. Love that movie. So much fun, and...

    The Stage: An Outmoded Medium?

I don't think Scumbio meant that statement; I believe he meant that it's not a topic one can have an educated debate on. If that's not what he was trying to get across, I am. I think the room for error in theater is exciting, and it presents challenges and performances that can't be...

    The Debate Hall Social Thread

@Sucumbio It's particularly disturbing because Social Security pays for itself, and the only reason it's being considered for cuts is because the government took money out of the program for other uses. The program really isn't spending money we don't have.

    The Debate Hall Social Thread

So it looks like Ron Paul is running for president again, which I'm sure is a lost cause, but it's also sort of exciting, I think, that such an untraditional candidate is generating a fair amount of enthusiasm.

    The Debate Hall Social Thread

It still doesn't really make sense to me, but I think it has to do something with the fact that by interpreting Genesis literally, you have to believe that god created humans at the beginning of his six day creation, and because humans haven't been here long, neither has the Earth. They also...
