Guide to DESYNCHING -- I really need to massively revise this

The Standing Nana Desync is probably the least known and most under apperciated desync. Its also the best thing that has happened to the Ice Climbers since chaingrabs, due to the power and applications the the SND has. You can read up on it Here and a little more information is on it...

Mass Madness 15: The worst TO ever! PC Approved - April 18 and 19 - Framingham, MA

Looking forward to attending, though it was pretty crowded at MM12, so more room for setups (a table near the LCD TVs would be nice) would be a good idea. Hope its not too crowded for the Killzone 2 release.

Super Mass Bros. 2: Now With Wicked Hot CoHost - March 7th - Greenfield, Ma -SSBB/M

Looking forward to attending this, though I don't like the 2 hour drive. Hopefully my practice with my new character will get me into the top 8 this time. And MdrnDayMercutio, hopefully you worked on your anti IC skills this time:bee:. Oh, and snakes must die.

A couple newish (?) techniques I've been working on

Meta Knight's UpB invincibility doesn't happen until frame 5, so this would still probably work against him. Of course, you still have to be close enough to land it in the first place:(.

A couple newish (?) techniques I've been working on

For those unfamiliar with me, I'm the guy who brought the IC boards this thread of new techniques http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=169427, which you might want to read first, as I might make mention of SND here. SH Double Bair Anyways, I kinda discovered that ICs can SH double...

    Mass Madness 12 Results

I have to say, MM12 was a very rewarding experience for me, especially since it was my first tourny. Thanks and gg to all those I played, though I really don't know anybody to make any specific shoutouts to. I was honestly suprised at my placemnt, I thought I would be much lower. How I got...

Smash Back Room Weekly Character Discussions! FINAL UPDATES: Ness + Lucas. All done!!

The hint for #12 screams Ice Climbers, although ICs having ever been percieved to have good aerials at any point in time is news to me. However, I feel like this would be a little to early to make a summary about the ICs because it seems to me that their metagame has not fully developed yet in...

    Iceblock Spamming

Unfortunately, this doesn't actually work as well as one would hope, as the lag remove by landing from an ice block is partially negated by the time it takes to fall down to that position where the lag would be removed and the landing lag itself. Sure, it does improve the rate of fire of the...

New Desync and Techniques : Standing Nana Desync, Supergrab and More! *Update 9/6*

I am really suprised not many people replied to my post. I thought I discovered good techniques, and the Ice Climbers community would be interested to hear about it. Especially with the supergrab, which combined with dash cancelling with a shield, not only gains extra distance, but is an...

New Desync and Techniques : Standing Nana Desync, Supergrab and More! *Update 9/6*

Not really, however the only rquirements for smash canceling and the like is that Nana needs to be charging a smash attack while Popo is idle. This can be done with any other desync like pivot B. The reason why SND is so useful is that it is the fastest way into the Nana charge, and...

New Desync and Techniques : Standing Nana Desync, Supergrab and More! *Update 9/6*

What is the Standing Nana Desync? The Standing Nana Desync (SND) is a technique in which a player is able to quickly have the Ice Climbers desync into a highly advantageous stance. When you input the SND, shown below, though you don't need to press A, Nana ends up in a quick dash, while Popo...
