This one sounds like it was fun. Were any matches recorded?

    Rule 6 Monthlies @ Fuddruckers

We like Ike. So I played as him. Thanks to all who were there for a truly fun tournament.

Can people who bring partial setups be squires or something?

    Rule 6 Monthlies @ Fuddruckers

Quite possibly a bad question, but is there any discount for bring half a setup (everything but a TV)? If not, no worries, I can bring a cube anyways. Also, is there any chance of rides to bart after the tourney?

Is That Tournament: December 10th, 2011

Thanks again for the tourney. More practice is good practice, and it's always valuable to play against a variety of people. The venue was groovy, though seeing how good those new magic cards are made me feel very old. I've now gotten a total of 3 YYGs off in tournament matches.

Is That Tournament: December 10th, 2011

How strict do you think you'll be with keeping to the schedule? If I couldn't get there until between 3:45 and 4:15, would I miss singles sign-ups? I really want to go to this, but I've got something (which is actually just 10 minutes away from the venue) from 1:00 to 3:45-ish, so I want to make...

Which of Fox and Falco's aerials out-prioritize ftilt and uptilt? I suppose I could test this myself, but I figured I'd ask first. Sigh... if only Fox couldn't shine combo Ness for days on end. Simna, you going to that San Jose tourney next weekend?

How to solve a spamming rolling Jiggs PROBLEM

Hence the "(not very serious)" disclaimer. I do agree that Kirby is pretty darn bad. It's still true that Kirby's b out-prioritizes rollout, and that you can just hold the b button as long as you want.

How to solve a spamming rolling Jiggs PROBLEM

Advice has been pretty darn good so far. My (not very serious) suggestion is hold b with Kirby. No matter what, rollout can't hit you. In fact, it might even work if you're facing the opposite direction. Also, if you suck him up, you can get your own rollout.

    Good S*** German 3, Don't Go Down There Jeff! 2 ?????

2 I'm out of town on the 28th and 29th. I'll be busy graduating on the 11th and 12th. That said, I might not even be able to make it for the 5th, but that's still my vote. For what my vote is worth.

I see. If you have good timing though, I don't see why you couldn't just side tilt as son as they're out of your dtilt range. DTilt's lag can be canceled into any other tilt pretty darn quick.

    DTilt spam can be shield-grabbed?

    General Ness discussion

I know it sounds silly, but I sometimes approach with wd-dtilt spam, especially if my opponent is at high %. It can't be shield-grabbed, and the ending lag on a dtilt is very small, so when they escape, I can fsmash or wd-back fsmash.

    That awkward moment...

Just a few... (mostly in run-on sentence format). When you're playing against somebody who's definitely much better than you are and you do something groovy and get the kill and they say "nice," and you don't know what to say so you just mumble "thanks" and then realize that you never...
