ummm, melee was rushed? and what is soo bad about melee because it was rushed? melee seemed to do pretty well for itself despite the fact that it was "rushed" even if it's just speculation he still did a pretty awesome job with what he had! mad props for the attempt, i enjoyed it ^_^

yeah that changes everything.. i'll be there now for SURE if it's on a saturday, and i'll try to convince pointman to come too =D (he probably will)

yeah very very depressing that it's on a friday... people that work weekdays (like me) wont be able to attend (epecially with short notice)... too bad =/ i registered before checking the date too.. didn't expect it to be on a friday lol... oh well guess this will just be another tournament i...

that can be said about anything that takes skill however... genius is being able to do something which 99.9% of the population can do with hard work and dedication effortlessly.. i like those odds!

i usually read threads but rarely comment... this is a very unfortunate thread however.. this post reminds me of InfernoOmni's thread "The Divide Between Good and Great (Complete)" he made a little while ago... but a failed attempt... from someone who has played smash for like.. a week...

nice post! i think i'm an assailant too, but i main marth so it's a lot easier to pressure my opponents into a corner with the large range he has. the fact that you said the common smash player is impulsive is an excellent point and something people can take advantage of through mind games...
