You'll understand when you're older. ;)
O BURN

For the record, I've got iTunes on shuffle right now, and over the past hour or so, I've gone through--

Blind Melon, Gwen Stefani, Cascada, NWA, Sum 41, and Billy Joel.

None of which are particularly "hip", I think. :chuckle:

Well, well... I don't check the thread for a few hours and there's everything from comas, smothered babies, Drake and Josh, Simple Plan, and a stampede of Bowser Jrs/Ridleys/King K. Rools (ahem) being discussed.

...

This place is awesome. It's like a forum in itself. There are no mods. There are no rules. There is no spoon.

Anyway, someone needs to get started on that MYM moveset. Fierce Deity Link is the most EPIC Final Smash ever created. For the win.

EDIT: King Meta Snake is a bit... terrifying?

Sum 41 is also one of the coolest bands there is. Next to Linkin Park, and Three Days Grace, its my favourite band.

What's everyone's tastes in music btw?

I like classic rock: The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, The Who, AC/DC, etc....
I like metal.
Punk: The Ramones, Dead Kennedys...and will probably expand a bit more

Nirvana is cool...

I actually think we should wait for the MYM moveset. The more time passes, the more material there is to pull from, right?

@ King Meta-Snake: It's cool, but what this thread really wants to know (not really, don't answer this) is: do u liek simple plan?

P.S. I'm totally 104 years old.

I like Sum 41 too, TWILTHERO. Otherwise, I'd say Bob Marley has to be at the top of my list. I've started listening to a lot of Iron Maiden lately too. Anything with a good tune.

An easier question would be what don't I like..

I hate rap.
I hate country (for the most part).
I hate boy bands.

Other than that.... most things are ok..

But in particular the bands I like are:

Disturbed (Striken ftw)
Linkin Park (In The End especially)
Drowning Pool (they made a few good songs)
System of A Down (I haven't listened to a lot of their songs but so far my favorite is Needles.)
Three Days Grace
The Fray (shocker eh? especially seeing the rest of this list)

But my #1 favorite band... NICKELBACK.

Werd up.

Blind Melon
Cool.

Gwen Stefani
Can't say I'm a big fan.

'Cause everytime we touch, I get this feeling...

Whew... I thought I was probably the only person on SmashBoards in possession of any Cascada.

Never heard 'em.

Awesome.

and Billy Joel.
Epic, epic win.

Then you only have me beat by 2 years.
I know, man, but believe me, I know what I'm talking about. I was the same way 2 years ago, I loathed the very concept of boy bands.

That. Is. So. AWESOME!

What's everyone's tastes in music btw?
Well, I already gave the full range of mine, but I rarely listen to the stuff at the ends of that range. Mostly bands like...

Submersed, Alter Bridge, Shinedown, 30 Seconds to Mars, TRUSTcompany, Fuel, 10 Years, etc...

Somewhere I Belong > In The End.

Though in the end is still wicked awesome.
No, sorry...

Crawling > In the End > Somewhere I Belong

PS: It's not really hijacking the thread since we're the only ones who use it anyway, right?

I listen to all my music on youtube.. but I did listen to that song a few times. Not half bad.

And no I will not grow to like the Backstreet Boys. Every member of that band is gay and I can't stand gay music.

How about put your iPod/MP3/ Whatever on shuffle and type the first five songs.

1. Loser-Beck
2. MTV Get Off the Air - Dead Kennedys
3. Rondo Alla Turca - Mozart (I like classical. Sue me. :chuckle:)
4. Hell's Bells - AC/DC
5. A Day in the Life - The Beatles

They themselves may be gay, but the effects their music can have are anything but. ;)

Hmmm, those are all good, but I'd say What I've Done > In the End > Somewhere I Belong > Crawling. Numb and Faint are pretty good too. EDIT: As is Bleed it Out. Though it's not in my top five.

There is sooo much random stuff on my iPod...I love all kinds of music really, rock, punk, classical, techno, you name it, I probably have some of it on my iPod.

Plus...when the Brawl intro got leaked, I put it on my iPod so that I could show my friend that Marth was in Brawl, 100% confirmed xD

Ooh, this sounds like fun...

12 Stones -- "Photograph"
Breaking Benjamin -- "Polyamorous"
Foreigner -- "Long, Long Way From Home"
The Goo Goo Dolls -- "Acoustic #3"
Hawthorne Heights -- "Blue Burns Orange"

WRONG!!!!!

Bleed It Out > Crawling > In the End > Somewhere I Belong
Hmm... Me no think so. The new CD was slightly disappointing to me, though "Bleed It Out" was a good one.

Ack! How did I forget "Faint"?!

Crawling > Faint > In the End > Somewhere I Belong > Numb > Breaking the Habit > Bleed It Out

LP Song tier list, anyone? Lol.

Walkie Talkie Man - Steriogram
Wack! - Mindless Self Indulgence
Bohemian ****sta - Q-Unit
The Distance - Cake
The Rainbow Connection - Kermit the Frog

That last one is the best song ever.

And correction: Poor teenagers use iTunes and LimeWire.

Seriously, we're living this thread up. You can have it back later.

Oh, and interesting song. Not a big rap fan, but it was decent.

I'm surpised that absolutely nobody said One step closer yet.
Oh my--

I officially resign from Linkin Park-ness. If I suck hard enough to forget this song before putting ones like Numb and Bleed It Out on that list... I just... I can't keep doing this...

The song's not the best rap out there, but I really love that song for the video. It's an exemplary showing of good, old-school rap ideals, i.e. stuff besides partying, clubbing, anonymous sex, and the "hood".

And it was MAINSTREAM. It's amazing.

ANYWAY, let's see what other crazy cool things we have to talk abou--

For my 1000th post, I would like to present, to my fellow MYM participants (as I firmly believe they're among the most intelligent people on these forums)...
