Pokemon Trainers Welcome

I know that we can agree that online Brawling isn't all that great. My original intentions of this thread were just to find some online buddies but after a few weeks, it has turned into a big thing and the Pokemon Trainer Board's official online thread. many of the guys in this are really good, others are just guys who arent as good like myself. All and all we have a good time. We talk alot about things talk about the matches we had and laugh at mistakes and get mad when there's lag. For newcomers, this is a great way to meet people and get connections around the PT board other than participating in board discussions. There are alot of nice guys on here, so don't be shy. I'm just now trying to keep this OP in order so it's easy to read lol. I've recruited some people other than PT users as you can see below.

Ok so my mom's house got electricity while I was moving my furnature around so I will be able to set up my Wii come tommorow anmd most likely I will have axcess to WIFI. The only problem I see is that I wont get it because the signal I get WIFI from is not available(cuz I use a wireless connection). peeup, I should havce you registereed by tommorow, sorry I cant get on for tonight.

Somewhat luckily for me I have another week off of school(though its gona cut into summer vacation >=(
so I'm pretty much freethis whole week. So for those of you who are in different timezones I will try to get with you.

First I want to say welcome to the PT Boards and I will be more than happy to assist you. All I need to know is your timezone and that should do it so we can schedule matches. also if you noticed above I added that if you want to record our matches you can and if you want to post them you may also do that.

If you want right now I can hook up my wii and with some luck we can play. I should have WIFI I'm still not sure yet but if you'd like I will try if you are ready to fight.

cool give me about 10 min or so cuz I gotta hook up my wii and check for connection. Get online now, have me registered and ummm if you would start a room for us 3 stock no time limit that would be fine with me and no items. Hopefully I get a WIFI connection, if I come back in a while empty handed I'm sorry, most people out here havbn't ogt electricity yet so I may not be able to draw from a source but I'm going right now to hook up my Wii, just have that Room set up and I pray to God that we can fight.

^^' Sorry I missed you man. It was just as I thought. Not everyone here in BR has power so I cant get a signal through. It could be a week before my area has power and I'm able to axcess WIFI. Though try to be patient(especially you Onxy), once my WIFI is up and running I will be able to fight you guys, especially since I have this thread up I can check in with you guys and we can Brawl.

I really hope WIFI will be available to me soon, I want to fight you guys, but in the mean time Those who want to fight me dont be afraid to speak up.

Use anybody you want to use, but keep in mind that some people will be able to give you better advice if you show us your PT. Even so, feel free to use other mains, nobody's going to stop you.

Contrary to what I said in my last post, I probably will be on at around 4:00 today. My homework situation is much smaller than I thought.

thank you for the matches, peeup. Your squirtle scared me a lot. I'll have to learn how to play squirtle more effectivly, as mine is definatley my worst pokemon (and thats saying something

Don't forget guys, if you want to post yalls matches on here fell free too, it would also be a good way to (show off), see how we all fight and what level of skill we have. Because lets face it, all I know is from word of mouth that Reflex is "the best" but havent really seen any of his vids and any other of PT board pplz's vid showing what they can do.

Nice matches, Glusent. You made me know that I have to work on my Ivysaur, it felt to me like you were always controlling the match when I had ivy out.

This thread is a really good idea, it really seems like the members of this board are coming together, much moreso than the other boards I go to.

Awesome matches hydde, that zard was amazing! I won't be available monday/tuesday/wednesday/friday/saturday/sunday... but I might be able to squeeze in a few matches on thursday... if I don't have much homework.

@Everybody here: Who has the ability to record/post matches on youtube? I would like to get some online, but I don't have any recording equipment (or the knowledge of how to take a recording from a cam corder and put in on a computer), so if anybody can record, they would be on teh top of my priority list.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind getting more of my matches online, either. I'm notoriously lacking in that area (though I do have a few up there).

As for me, the best I can do is a digital camera, which is obviously nowhere near as good as a direct screen capture.

Sounds like you guys are doing good and getting to know each other quite well and having fun with this thing(no wolf pun intended). I'm going to see if I have WIFI today, so I wont be on for the rest of the afternoon until about maybe 5-6 pm US Central time.

If any of you guys that I have registered are on and I happen to have WIFI, we can battle, but in the mean time keep on doing what yall are doing. Also if you have record-posting capability let us know.
