i can't set it as my avatar (i resized it)
i tried photobucket, tinypic, and my pictures. nothing works

I did mine,I had to turn the hat into a sprite though. However for some reason I can't get the background to be a transparency. Oh well...I'll just add text to make it look intentional. Great thread by the way.





(EDIT: How come it's a transparency when I post it? Hm...)
(EDIT 2: It was 5 pixels too big, so I resized it to maxinum size for a avatar.)

You made it just fine...

You just need to save it in a folder where you can find it easily on your computer.

Once you have done that you can go to the page where you set you avatar. Scroll down to where it says, use custom avatar. Use Option 2 - Upload Image From Your Computer.

Click the browse button, and it should open a window that lets you navigate to the file's location.

That's just how I've uploaded my own avatar, if that doesn't work. well, i don't know.
