maybe i'm an ******* but i basically think we should only keep quality DK vids up.
I lack the abilities..but i can send some seriously great matches versus Lee(the best lucario) and other LA locals, to someone who can upload them for meh!

i've gotten quite better since my previous vids, and i think my future vids will defend me being one of the best DKs now =]

Amazing job Kosa, this is definitely the best video thread I have ever seen.

Cyphus, some people (like me) just enjoy watching DK vids even though they may not be from the best players who ever played the game.

Edit: that sounded really derogatory... that is in no way thinking down upon your opinion Cyphus, I see where you are coming from.

anyway, my AIM is TheCyphus, but i dont have a wii at my house (we all play at a friend's house near my college campus), so once i save some of the better recent fights, maybe i can arrange a time to send them to someone who can put them up. ^_^

I agree with Cyphus’s line of thinking. If you could keep the videos relatively recent and of a good standard, that would be awesome. Maybe list them newest first for each player? YYYY-MM-DD

Okay I guess, from now on I'll do it. Any vid older that November I'll delete, but really like putting the date is kind of unnecessary. If its a friendly what the does the date have to do with it. Tourneys I tried my best to put the date judging by the little bit of information.

ok, tomorrow i'll probably be playing fiction (best wario, ranked 3rd in socal), mikehaze (one of the 3 best marths, ranked 8th in socal), Tyrant (apparently a good snake/meta, ranked 11th in socal), and richbrown (good oli). possibility of dehf (best falco, ranked 2nd in socal), since he is in the area, but i didn't see him post at the tournament, so i'm not sure.

I'll try to get the matches recorded, not sure if they have a recorder, but i will save it to the wii and mail it out if need be/it fits in 3 minutes. unfortunately i'll be rusty as hell since i haven't played srsly since december, but hopefully pregame friendlies will help

ok tujex you got quite a few things to work on.

first video

:09 don't do dash grabs with dk. always use shield or pivot grabs

:16 don't do dairs on bowser when he is on the very bottom just standing there, remember that he has the second strongest up air in the game, a strong up tilt and a good up smash. just go off the stage and grab the ledge

:36 NEVER recover on stage unless you know you won't have lag

:54 up tilt OOS??? use grab or d smash

1:23 perfect time for a Fsmash

1:56 you need to know when they are going to not atack and just land away from you. this was a perfect time for down b

GAME 2

:07 down b

:11 take a step and F smash or down b

:14 WHY???????

1:17 bad use of d smash lol

1:35 don't attack bowser from above

over all this match you need to stay at the other ends and chage punches or use grounded up b tricks going from one platform to another. ( look at my vids on jungle japes you can do the same stuff here)

GAME 3
first 1:45 is broken

you seem good in this vid

GAME 4

start game charging punch

rest was dumb

over all gameplay critique

-lots more bair
-more down b
-where were the d tilts?
-you need to charge your punch more often even if it is only 1-2 winds like me
-more grounded up b
-less up tilt
-work on spacing (short hop bair their shield and then back away or something)
-most importantly: STOP just standing there, DK can always do something
