Crews and low tiers: Anytime after singles
Venue closes at 9~10 PM

-1st 60% pot
-2nd 30% pot
-3rd 10% pot

Teams:
-1st 60% pot
-2nd 30% pot
-3rd 10% pot

There are also discounts for the venue fee.

TV is $2 discount
Cube is $1 discount
Power strip is $1 discount

The discounts stack so if you bring TV + Cube or anyone other combinations, they add together. Bring all 3 and I will contribute $1 to your singles or doubles fee too.

Venue Rules:​

1. No smoking or Alcohol!
2. CLEAN YOUR **** UP! IF THE VENUE IS LEFT MESSY I DON'T GET MY DEPOSIT BACK!!!!!
3. There are tables by the volleyball court where you can eat your food but please do not eat your food INSIDE the venue. If you spill, I have to pay out of my pocket.
4. If you want to money match, exchange all money out of site of my father or the man who works there.
5. Don't be too rowdy!
6. There will be a man sitting at his desk in the corner. Please be both respectful of him and his stuff.

Melee Rules​

* Items are set to off
* The stock is set to 4
* 8:00 Timer
* All sets are best of 3 matches
* With the exception of Winner/Loser/Grand Finals - best of 5 matches
* In the event of a dispute, controller ports will be selected by Rock-Paper-Scissors
* No player may choose the stage they last won on
* Ties will be broken by lives, then percentage. In the event of a percentage tie, one stock sudden death will be played
* The Ice Climber Freeze Glitch is banned even though it's funny.
* Jigglypuff's rising pound stall is banned
* Peach's bomber stall beneath levels where she is unreachable is banned.
* Wobbling is banned.

* Button Mapping allowed

* If you pause the game during a tournament match, it is up to the other player what happens. The default is that you lose the round, and continue on. The other player can just request a free hit, or just an unpause, if he wants.
* Generally, you may only change characters if you lost the previous match.

well, everything looks good.

I'd prefer that, if we can run it, we have at least one setup for GG, 64, and brawl after the tournament itself is over... (whichever more people want to play, we could plan accordingly.)

Basically, venue fee (to those who'll actually have to pay it LOL) translates to snacks, food, and drinks. Any money for that that isn't covered by venue I'll pay out of my pocket if need be, etc.

Everyone make sure to read the rule about money matches and singles entry fee.

I'll take questions about it at a later point in time. Just know I'm not allowed "collect" any money except for the venue fee which will be money for food basically. Basically it will just be a small inconvenience when it comes to collecting the money. I'll probably figure something else out though so don't worry. =)

this tourny should be pretty good, i'm interested cuz the venue sounds nice
as for side tournaments, they aren't really that necessary but still gauge everyone's interest in them.
personally i would be super down for 64, down for guilty gear, sorta i guess down for brawl, and not down for SF4.

I think Arizona's and water is a good idea. I'll get Pizza but the amount is based on the turnout.

actually this tourny sounds pretty good, i hope i can make it. as the tourny is winding down just ask people to pick up stuff and clean. at most tournies (im thinking about SD triweeklies) smashers clean and tidy up the place without having to be asked. pizza sounds too good

it's a fighting game but with castlevania characters? it's broken as hell lol
