Finally got the real thread up, for the many ppl who don't know who I am allow me to introduce myself. I'm RAM and I've been away from the boards for a long time. but who cares about that. this tourney is going to be awesome and something u should'nt miss. and to all of the Brawl players don't take offense to the name of the tourney it's just for fun and will even have a Brawl singles and possibly doubles tourney for the day so try to make it. ^_^
Date
The Date we were originally shooting for was the 27th but the location that we're holding it at will have their own event going on that day so we've taken the 20th of June before that was taken as well ( Sorry Ruse

The location of the tourney have over 15 TV's already so we'll need more cubes and Wii's mostly. Below is the address and Email of Home Field Sports and Games with a phone number. I'll also post a link to the website where u can see the room we'll have the opportunity of using
( the tables will most likely be moved around for extra space )

As mentioned this tourney's main event will be Melee.
A 5 dollar door fee will be used to give to the owner Greg for letting us use his wonderful store for our private tourney!!!
Melee Singles 15 $
Melee Doubles 20 $ ( 10 per a player )
Brawl Singles 10 $
Brawl Doubles 20 $ ( If enough interest )
Housing
I myself have ample room for housing and don't have a problem housing as many as I can ( priority will go to the ones traveling from the greatest distance but I don't see housing as a problem ) Drumma Boi will also be housing as well here are our numbers and AIM info if you have any questions.

Schedule
Registration starts at 10 for Brawl singles ( and Doubles if they take place ) If Doubles do indeed happen they will start at 11:00 sharp!!!!!! Brawl singles will take place after doubles. After all of the Brawl events have concluded a 1 hour lunch break will be given and Melee sign ups will begin as well!!!!
After the lunch period, sign ups for melee will end in 30 mins and then melee will begin ASAP!
After Melee doubles you guessed it Singles will begin. If enough entrants are present pools will be played. depending on the number of entrants, afterwards a Bracket will be made depending on seeds using the good ol double elimination scenario.
Melee Rules
* Items off.
* Ties are broken by remaining lives, then %. If both criteria are tied, then the Sudden Death match will be played out.
* First stage is random from the Neutral stages listed below.
* The loser of the first match will achoose their stage to play on for the next game. The winner will then be allowed to switch characters, followed by the loser. Apply the same logic for the third match (and fourth/fifth when applicable) if there is one. (Advanced Slob Picks)
* No stage may be used twice in a single set if the counter-picking player has already won on that stage, unless the opponent agrees to use the stage again. (Dave's Stupid Rule)
* Double Blind character pick can be called at anytime before the first game of a set starts, and only apply to the first game.
* Each person (or team) may choose one stage to be disabled for the entire set at the START OF THE SET, after characters have been chosen but before the random stage has been picked.
* Controller Mods, Glitches (IC Freeze Glitch, Mewtwo Soul Stunner, etc), and tactics used to stall a match (wall-bombing, rising pound), are banned.
* Wobbling is BANNED!!!!
* For doubles: Team Attack will be ON, life stealing allowed. ( of course )
