Uair-footstool-QAL potential death combo (video pending)

ESAM here with a breaking discovery! Along with K_Prime, we have discovered a game-shifting technique for pikachu!

Basically, at the %s it says below, you can uair. This will give you enough time to footstool. When you are footstooled, you cannot tech the ground. So, you can initiate a QAL. However, with the properties of diminshing moves, you can use the uair and footstool until very high %s. This will let you get into a high enough % to jab lock. So, the combo is:

Uair->footstool->QA->uair->....->QA->Jab lock->Thunder
Tested in Debug mode, Brawl mode, DI+Fastest option

The reason this works is frame advantage.

At the % on the list is "When it is guarenteed no matter what" compared to "guaranteed if your opponent doesn't do anything for X (IDK real numbers) frames"

So there you have it, Pikachu is amazing. Have a nice day pikachus. I'll have a video up in the next week or so.

Maybe but most things I have researched with stale moves aren't extremely reliable. (They end eventually)

This may be a %-death, but it's not an infinite (I'm certain at 999% your opponent will die, no matter how staled the uair is)

Hee hee, this is definitely one of those easier said then done type of techniques. Still looks amazing.

Also, for those that are unaware you dont necessarily need the following uairs. If you get footstooled into the ground by a pika competent in footstool follow up techniques you're in a pretty bad spot. The uairs probably make this easier, but as mentioned ESAM Prime and Stealth found out about Quick Attack Locks and jab locks into 0-deaths quite awhile ago. Video:

Most pikas are lazy though and havent bothered to be competent in the technique or setups considering the difficulty, but its definitely possible for anyone willing to bother.

Might I had QAC makes it so you don't even need a footstool. You can punish nearly any missed tech with this.

I already have pulled a few QAC locks on people who missed a tech. This also looks far easier then the QAC lock however. (I can't keep a QAC lock going for more then 2-3 locks... then I normally just end it before I mess it up)

You guys just don't want it to actually work. I'm gonna try to get a vid up today.

Also, for all you people saying it doesn't work, i went through 7 hours of testing in debug mode to get these numbers. I put DI in all of them, so it does work.

It's really not difficult. You just need to practice it, just like any pikachu tech.

Against people where it starts around like 17% you can combo into it with:

D-throw->reverse U-tilt->uair->footstool to start it.

And also, to get the people to the higher %s, you could always just CG them or camp with thunder jolts...

New advanced technique discovered by meta knight:

"Play campier and gayer against Pikachu, otherwise he'll do very very very gay **** to you"

It will be advanced, because Pikachu's plethora of gay options are growing at an exponential rate (1.25 * exp(t * k)) and to avoid them will require massive skill.

Yeah, I can't really see why this wouldn't work, it's ... painful I suppose...
I don't necessarily think this will mean Pika jumping up even more (he's already near the border of A and S, and I can't see him going above Marth... just yet) on the tier list... Depends on how easy players can avoid the set ups I suppose.

Is is just me, or does it seem like most new discoveries in Brawl appear to be ridiculous combos and/or infinites that lead to death? If this is a true death combo, this appears to be an incredible find, but honestly it's starting to get pretty silly.
