I think upair may need to be rediscussed. Vulture kick is kinda lame, tbh.

Haha, his jab should be called the sucker punch, b/c of how strong it is.

Stay or rename?

Isn't a Vulture a sort of bird that eats flesh from dead animals?

Ok, I'll move it to the upper section.

It is... but I have no idea what that has to do with upair or Ganondorf... he just kills things, he doesn't eat them after he kills them.

Vulture Kick symbolizes death, decay, and Ganon's air prowess.

I'd be satisfied with Thunder Jab/Palm; Sucker Punch is too fitting of Melee's Warlock Punch.

  • Bouncer Palm
  • Thorax Compressor
  • Thorax Press

With what kind of voice (*Voice*) should I say it to get the most out of it?

@PhantomX: You think I'll recieve ban points because of the picture I added to the OP?
Maybe I should use a normal pic. What do you think?

If Samus can get away with wearing a skin-tight biosuit and if MK is allowed to wield that ****** device called Galaxia, I think we're allowed to add blood spewing from various new orifices from our opponent's body.

Also, I'm pretty sure it's not too over the top anyway, so you should be fine.

I think Vulture Kick for UAir is awesome. PhantomX probably has something against Vultures.

I think PhantomX once lost to a Terran Player who did only use Vultures to destroy his Zerg Base.

Moar
Jab:

Brain shocker

Uair: Wyvern Kick

No need to discuss-moves
Dair: Stomp
Neutral B: Warlock punch
Side B: Gerudo / Flame choke (Aerial = Aerudo)
Up B grab: Dark dive[/FONT]
Dark dive should be called "****."

Side B should be called "Kirby ****."

I don't like Vulture for Ganon b/c Vultures aren't cool, manly, or badass... they just eat dead stuff, they're not even competent enough to kill their own food, unlike Ganon. Also, Vultures are slow in the air, unlike Ganon's **** upair, which is the only fast thing we have.

You guys want to give Vulture to one of our moves, make it his fair.

His neutral A should be called the Pacemaker. 'Cause he shoves his hand out at chest height and their's electricity and whatnot.

Holy ****... the Pacemaker sounds hilarious, and your description is accurate XD

Vulture Fist DOES sound better than Vulture Kick, and it's at least more fitting.

Murder-5
Ya know? Like a high-5. But Murder-5. Because Ganondorf murders stuff. That's like, his thing. You know what I'm talking about, eh? *nudges with elbow and winks*

Pacemaker
That's a funny name. In fact, it's almost a little too funny for such an important attack.

"Heart Breaker" would be both hilarious AND serious though.

Looks like FacePalm is the most popular one.
But doesn't Zelda have that name for her Jab ?

Idea: To integrate a few mechanics into this thread, we can bring up potentially little-known facts about the attacks as we move through them.
Such as the fact Jab has a sour spot. Not something you'd notice in normal play. Maybe someone reading this didn't know that. (Is it in How to Murder Stuff?)

*~*~*~

Jab: Face Palm is pretty good.

Pacemaker can be turned around on us because it's the Sl0wEst jaB eV4R, so... I wouldn't hold on to it.

Uair: (The) Gerudo Wyvern. Wyvern can be the noun, is what I'm saying. 's pretty badass.

But that could never catch on outside the character boards because, no matter what, you can't get away with eschewing mention of the basic body part. *sigh*

Wyvern Flip?
Wyvernian [foo] ?

Wyvern's Tail. <<<-- I like where this is going. Is there something that means or sounds like tail, but is a plain word that means leg, knee, kick, flip, or something?
Or... no, something different:

Something that comes to mind is one of my observations. Have you ever really looked at Ganon when he does a double jump? Forward or backward, he curls up and looks... feral. He looks, for a split second, like a quadruped. It's ... cool.

If we could get some more names, to identify Ganon with not just beasts, but with the natural motions of those beasts (even if they're mythical), then... we'd have something pretty sick.
So I mean, when naming a Wyvern move... pull the other word somewhere out of the lore of Wyverns. Wyverns, as (massive) winged quadrupeds, wouldn't kick things. They would..... what? Whip things with their tails, is one thing I thought. But Ganon's kick just doesn't look like a tail*. So I ask, what?

*it might have if he did a front flip. . . but he doesn't. :ohwell:

^ I'm holding on to my own suggestion (Just cause I'm selfish)...
JK..."Wyvern's Tail" might even be a better suggestion than mine.
I just want "Wyvern" in the name :]

Also:
Manta Kick
Manta Ray Kick
Sting Ray Kick
Sting Ray's Tail

So it seems the most popular names for jab are as follows:
* Thunder Palm
* Face Palm
* Pacemaker

I vote Thunder Palm

I think we should honor thomas tipman in revolutionizing ganondorf. Even though it was melee. We should name at least one move after him, besides tipman.
