Tourney was a lot of fun. I was VERY disappointed in lack of TVs though. But despite only having 5 TVs (two of which were DNAs), thanks to Star's help too, we ran a 34 person bracket in like 3 hours. So it was pretty awesome.

I don't believe that only because you were offering to sell people "The Book of NE" It doesn't matter at all, and I'm happy that your hard work pays off for you, I'm just saying it's strange to me. But really, don't take it the wrong way.

while that is true hinkage, you have to remember we are still just kids lol. you have your whole life to take on the stress of finding a job. smash is something where koolaid is known nationally as the best pit, best/2nd best player in new england, etc. you only get that chance once in something.

as you get older you realize that 90% of your time is free regardless and you either take a hobby serious (sports, video games, girlfriend) or you become a pot-head until its required that you find a job.


i think taking smash serious and making 200+ dollars on a saturday (which would be a 2 week paycheck for a normal job for a teen during the school year) having fun with his friends is better than asking money from his parents everyday and buying weed like most kids his/my age. he cant even get a job his age anyway, no ones hiring 15/16 year olds.



edit - @hinkage - yea but i also had a job the past 2 years through the city of new haven, so the partying with no job argument is pretty null. and you still havnt answered my question of what you think he should be doing with his free time if it isnt smash
