The tourney is full.


The formular for all underaged people is up.
Pls make sure to bring a passport or sth. to prove that you are 18+.

If you are underaged (under the age of 18) you have to fill out this formular:

If you didn´t got a printer, you could also just write the information on the formular on a paper and fill it out + let your parents etc. sign it.

How to get to the venue:

Write your start point into field 1:

For example:
Town: Düsseldorf
Enter stop: HBF

(HBF or Hauptbahnhof = main station/central station)

Town: Düsseldorf
Enter stop: Airport

Into field 2 you write down one of the following stations:

Town: Düsseldorf
Enter stop: Breslauer Str.

or

Town: Düsseldorf
Enter stop: Krumbachskothen


This are the two stops next to the location.

Afterwards you write in the time in field 3 and press on: Choose a connection.

The program will now show you your possible connections.
At best print them out or write your connections down.
Most busses and trains drive in a set rythm (each hour to the same times).
You can see the price class of the ticket, you have to buy.

If you arrive at Düsseldorf central station or Airport and you don´t have got a ticket yet:
Buy a ticket of the type B.
If you drive with multiple people, you can also buy a 4 person ticket.
This is cheaper than four single person tickets.
You can also use the 4 person tickets to a later time (for example on sunday, when you drive back) and you can split one ticket up to multiple persons.
For example: 2 persons buy a 4 persons ticket: they use 2 drives to get to the location, 2 drive to get back to the train station.
The 4 person ticket can just be bought at the automat at the train stations or at the information centre. The single person ticket can also be bought in the busses (not in the trains).
Price class B:
Single person ticket = 4,70€
4 person ticket = 16, 50€
Before using a train you have to make a stamp on the ticket at the train station (if you use it for 4 persons you have to make 4 stamps on different sites, if you stamp one side its in use).
If you use the bus, you can stamp the ticket in the bus.
You have to stamp your ticket just once, even if you change from train to bus or bus to bus.

Important information:
The tourney will run until 8pm on sunday.
You are able to stay until this time.

We still will do singles and doubles both on saturday, since most people allready booked their tickets.
Singles will be done before doubles, since we don´t want to have the main event not getting finished on saturday.
Doubles can be finished on sunday in the worst case.

There probably won´t be a side event on friday, since most people are arriving on that date, so there is some time for freeplay.

There will maybe a side event on sunday instead. (low tiers/crews)

On friday we planned to do Money Matches with commentary instead. (there was something like this @ BBI, which was really hyped and I enjoyed it a lot, so I think it will be a great alternative )
We´ve got good internet on the location, so we try to do a livestream (the MMs will be on livestream + livestream commentary).


We are still searching for people, who can set up livestreams and we are searching for someone, who has got a projector and knows how to set it up.

Saturday: Brawl Singles; Teams

Melee Singles will probably be a side event saturday night, if there is time for it.
The people who are interested are able to take 2 or 3 tvs to play a small bracket.

You won´t be able to play during the night, since people have to sleep in the mainroom.


How to get to the location from Düsseldorf train station:
Take busline 754 or 752. Drive to Breslauer Straße. From there walk to the crossroad from McDonalds, then turn right until you arrive at the entrance to a big parking area.

PS2 is a counterpick in germany since Make Some Neuss and I don´t think this map is 2 bad to play on it.
I also have played this map

Rainbow Cruise was added instead of Brinstar, because the host wanted it like this.
I wasn´t involved in making the ruleset.

ahh ok , i have no problem with rc > brinstar atleast i have an option on what to ban but i do think ps2 as a cp and ps1 as a neutral is ********

PS2 is 100% legit. None of the transformations actually damage you or lead directly into damage or even threaten you at all.

I also don´t understand whats so bad about this map.
It´s not worse than Brinstar or RC.

even though unlike brinstar there is no direct way of getting hit by something. it's still a really stupid stage.
like for example at the part where everyone gains air mobiliy, that **** doesnt even look like brawl anymore lolol everyone is just in the air spamming aerials.
the reason i hate it isn't because it can randomly kill u.
no it's just that everything is annoying on that stage ( ice part/ air part ) and even the stage change where u get rolled off of the stage the whole time. I just can't seem to get how people can play SERIOUSLY on that stage.

when semifer counterpicked PS2 against me in low tiers all i did was spam dacus at the ice part and spam dair at the air part ( u know since u cant punish dair if u dont land LOL ) and he couldn't do anything about it.

I think FD is stupid and annoying because it has no platforms.

If you are in the air you also can´t attack a grounded enemy, so there is no problem about it.

The ice part is the best!

ramin pretty much said whats up with the stage , and i agree the air part it gets rid of normal gravity leaving u to just float and use moves u shudn't normally be able to use without being punished and i hate having my chars gravity change mid fight gets u use to a dif control speed for a while , and the tredmill part if any1 can srsly say that is legit to fight on then just dont reply , u trip and it puts u in a bad position (back to the ledge and gives ur oponent stage control)

Tripping kind of always puts you in a bad position, you know.

get used to it, it's just temporary and doesn't have as much influence as you think for the overall compat.

and imagine a srs fight on ps2 the tredmill bit (the bit where theres 3 platforms and 1 tredmill either side that push you back to the edg) the chars that use an air game etc mk are not really effected by this but people like snake ike and u can name more are against mk for example snake wil have to camp and get moved everytime he jumps to throw a nade in place also he cant tech chase anywhere near as well due to the tredmill

but yea w.e im moaning about this cos i use snake blah blah it is only effective for 20secs yea whatever keep it i dont care just saying i think lots of people hate this stage

Although I have to admit that it´s not nearly as bad as I thought...
but the air transformation sucks really, imo.

the transformations arent like those in Delfino or Halberd or even Pictochat. the most annoying thing is that the transformations alter the game physics (like Spear Pillar) and make the game vastly different to play and quite irritating. thats what sets it apart from the transformations on PS1.

If you could post something like flight costs and travel stuff that would help. I might attend...

equal
symmetrical to what you know, every other competitive stage has
balanced physics and gravity wise
not based on knowing gimmicks

Also not a fan of several stages, but I can manage. It's the TO's choice ultimately, although these complaints seem to be there every time with little compromise on their part.

I would prefer Melee singles to be a side event rather than low tier crews or whatever since low tier singles is gonna happen anyway. I don't really play low tier characters, so something not involving them is almost an incentive for me. >_>

No showers huh, is there a place nearby where showering would be possible (gym, swimming pool...)?

I don´t know actually about showers, I have to ask the TO.

There probably won´t be low tiers and we will have random seeded 3 people crews instead, which will be pretty fun, i think.

I cant do anything about the ruleset, the TO choosed it like this. :s
