1) Yes, the venue fee is still goin to be 20 if you go for one day. You get in free if you bring a setup (tv, console, game). You guys (read: The brawl community) already have a horrid rep with the GA fighting community on this point. I would advise you not to argue or complain about it.

2) If you want to be added on the list (or are adding somebody on the list), do the format. It's not hard. Shin doesnt know many people from the smash community....

3) .... and put what game you're signing up for. I mean, some of you guys think it's rocket science what game you're signing up for, but it's a multi game tourney. And some of us actually play multiple games. So it's not obvious if you just put your name and location.

Thank you sir for the vote of confidence. I have announced FINAL ROUND13 and I put smash in there for the time being. If we don't get atleast 20 people for brawl or melee at SEB. they will get droped. I've tried and tried and tried to plead with the smash community to show your support. I have other communities telling me to drop smash all together but I didn't. They tell me i'm wasting my time and space on you guys. I said at the beginning that this would be the test to see if the smash community cares about putting SMASH on the MAJOR fighting game scene MAP!!!!

There is only 1 other Fighting game community tournament in the usa that is bigger than FR and that's EVO. So here's the deal. If you really want to complain about the fgc not respecting the smash community as a real fighter, but yet won't show up to the organizer of the 2nd biggest tournament in the nation then oh well. I'm trying, but I guess no one is listening or even really cares! I'll see you guys in 2 weeks.

I was trying to make it affordable for people to attend. they are complaining about a $20 door fee. If that is happening then why would I increase the game fee's also? This is the main reason I think we had a low turn out at FR12 in both brawl and melee because I priced people out of coming to fr12. I won't make that mistake again. I could do like other shady tournaments and charge $10 at the door and take a % of money off the pot, but I don't do things like that. I think that's shady as hell. Anyways whatever game doesn't have atleast 20 people in it at SEB will not be at FR13, period!

I'm starting to feel disrespected by this community as a whole. Not by the people that support my events, but those that choose not to come even though they STAY IN GEORGIA!!!! I know there's more than 20 brawl and 20 melee players living in the state of Ga! I look at it like this. If they don't care, then why should I care? This is the only community I know of that will turn away from being apart of a MAJOR fighting game community tournament like FR. Oh well, i'm finished pleading. Either people show up or not. It's all up to you guys. I will support a scene that will support themself. I don't want to waste my time or your time if you guys don't care.

I've heard a lot of Georgia players talking about south east battles, and a few Alabama players as well, I'm sure overall if people stick their necks out and join both events (which i will be doing for this event) we'll have more than 20 for both.

It's just people in the smash community are cheap and hate the idea of a 20 dollar pot fee and would rather you cater to their every need, this is a "special" fighting game you know.

Anyways, the importance of this tournament has been advertised all through Georgia, so i'm sure there will be good turnout.

No out of state players are going to enjoy seeing 5 georgia players at a three month in advance tourney, if we have 20-30 people without anyone's help that will be enough advertisement in itself. It's not all about the money. :/

Its not a matter of who cares/doesnt. Its a matter of smash being overlooked in other events (nothing you ran) That had other fighters. On top of that the level of disrespect smash players get form other fighting game vets just off the bat means a lot. Its like moving to another school and everyone is an *******. Its not unreasonable that you wouldnt try very hard to make friends.

I understand man, but I am TRYING MY BEST! It seems i'm getting lumped in with other events that treated smash players like trash. I will support any scene that shows it cares.

It happens on both sides. One side, as a whole, just has the negative vibe for the other, and the people in the middle who are trying to work things out are just caught in the cross.

And if nothing else, I appreciate you stepping out for all of us. (melee and brawl).

I was trying to make it affordable for people to attend. they are complaining about a $20 door fee. If that is happening then why would I increase the game fee's also? This is the main reason I think we had a low turn out at FR12 in both brawl and melee because I priced people out of coming to fr12. I won't make that mistake again. I could do like other shady tournaments and charge $10 at the door and take a % of money off the pot, but I don't do things like that. I think that's shady as hell. Anyways whatever game doesn't have atleast 20 people in it at SEB will not be at FR13, period!

I'm starting to feel disrespected by this community as a whole. Not by the people that support my events, but those that choose not to come even though they STAY IN GEORGIA!!!! I know there's more than 20 brawl and 20 melee players living in the state of Ga! I look at it like this. If they don't care, then why should I care? This is the only community I know of that will turn away from being apart of a MAJOR fighting game community tournament like FR. Oh well, i'm finished pleading. Either people show up or not. It's all up to you guys. I will support a scene that will support themself. I don't want to waste my time or your time if you guys don't care.
