I looked for a thread like this, but didn't find anything.

Basically, I want to see all of the most inspirational and intense matches all time. Not the ones like in the 4-stocked matches thread, but ones more like this

Basically looking for (somewhat) technically sound matches that go down to the bone, with some awesome "oh ****" moments throughout.

Mango v Armada Genesis.

Too many Genesis matches to name. Zhu v M2K is up there.

SS vs Armada was amazing too.

Mango vs. Armada at genesis 1 was boring. It was only hype because it was close and USA vs. EU. I'd never re-watch that set. Puff vs. Peach will never be entertaining, no matter who's playing it.

I completely disagree. Mango reading Armada's roll and punishing it with rest to end game 4. Armada pulling stitch face for some ******** great punishes.

I mean, obviously it won't be as hype as Zhu vs SS or Mango v Space Animal 20391 but it definitely is one of the best sets of all time.

uhh WHAT that was the greatest set ever no question. just look at the context of how nobody thought armada would do that well, but he came over and knocked m2k and mango into losers and looked like he was gonna take the whole tournament, but mango came back and barely clutched it out to assert himself as the best player in the world. and it was chock full of crazy **** like that stitchface combo, armada getting off on mango's falco game 1, mango's rests on armada's rolls, and armada's comeback game 5. plus with classic waffles commentary, man that set is better than a freaking movie god damn i'm gonna go watch it again right now

And of course the puff main disagrees with me. Somehow I'm okay with this.
I will say that Mango vs. Armada Genesis was more entertaining than Hbox vs. Armada at APEX 2010. Or any tournament thereafter.

Can think of a lot of others but I'll find them later. A lot of Mew2King's matches (both winning and losing ones) are pretty amazing/important.

Despite zhu's win in that first match, watchin that makes you realize what a mental marauder m2k is. He knew that suicide got in Zhu's head and just started pressuring hard.

Wow I got some mad chills watching that pound 3 match. Haven't seen it since it came out, and I was butthurt that m2k lost.

How the **** do you go in with puff, mango always amazes.

not sure if it was posted yet, but the m2k shiz 5-set (not sure the tourney). the last match was on pokemon stadium and was the only one dubbed over with music.
