I would tell you to look up the tutorial but...... yeah.

I know your pain. It took over 2 months for me to finish Raiden due to me having issues with MGS2 models.

For now you need to nab 3DS Max 2010 and up and their Autodesk Collada plugins.
Lemme see if I can get you the link to the newest BB.....

I found the source but not the program........
No that's the thing. I HAVE read the tutorials, I HAVE 3DSMax 2010 and the Autodesk Collada plugin, but I can't get my models to work in Brawlbox and I don't know why.

he is over mario right now but making over sonic too
i just needing to get sonic less fat and afew other things and he is done

making these two (both over both):

too bad i dont got sonic already rigged in 3ds max so i can´t make mario with outfit Sonic outfit (over Sonic)
but atleast i got mario in 3ds max already rigged and a unrigged brawl sonic

you needing to add Skin modifer on all polygons
and that skin modifer needs to have all Bones on the boneset (even model changer onces and throwN and the unused onces on that polygon) in it
so many forgetting it and think there is something wrong with 3ds max or brawlbox and then give up on model importing

Last I tried, it crahsed during the importing process, saying something about the skin/bones
1. dont know about austrailian computers but have you change the "," to "." in the computer?
I had the problem about that as a European but M22k helped me fix that, ask him about it more D:

2. are every vertices "rigged" to atleast one bone? if you dont know, delete the "skin" thingy and redo everything.

3. have you deleted one bone in the skin modifier and when added it later on when it has rigging on? last time I did that I got error about the skin thingy, how to fix that is to delete the skin modifier and redo everything

I did D: but I didn't weight map it if that's the problem.

Good News and bad news time.....again.

Good news:
I found a solution to my Big Shell issue.

Bad news:
I have to start over, but not from scratch.

try import something else with a very easy rig (like only 2 bones rigged or singlebinded) and import it and see if you get the same error o.o
Well I have tried importing models with no bones in the past and putting it in a stage. I just tried again with this model and like every time before I've just gotten freezing

now with fixed eyes and afew revamps on the model+ingame previews
the face for soinc at mouth is his normal face for Sonic over mario
but for sonic in mario outfit over Sonic he is going to have all faces

only afew things left and one more hack to big release day

over sonic version
this version looks alittle better then mario version (in my option)
the best with this model its already brawl styled so no texture work needed

It really does...So much that I REALLY question why you didn't use those same proportions for the version over Mario. I kept thinking it looked way too fat for Sonic and now I see why.

cuz of Rig the sonic over mario needed to look like as he does and dont wanted to mess so much around with a perfect rigged body (cuz of i got mario with nintendo´s Rig in 3ds max)

almost perfected now
here is what left:
SSJ3 hair bones/rig (the rig will be hard since i can not use blend without it messes up since the hair is more then one polygon and not just one single )
revamp at the vest
Finish the moveset

if you dont remember who Gotenks will be over
then guess it :D
too bad the model can´t be oneslot if i wanted the model perfected

Bear in mind that this is just ONE layout and angle for the stage I'm planning. I'm planning at least 4 different stages for the Big Shell...

You cannot enter the lower section in this version to prevent circle camping.

i know but still and even then i posted something not about DBZ like Geno or my mario animations for SMBZ mario moveset still got ignored or almost any thing else
ppl ignore me to something like a new metal texture or just a texture

A cast-universal improvement to the model-importing process (Metal Textures) excites me more than a moveset that I'm not going to use.

I doubt I'm alone in that.

Well me, i'm continuing to work on Tails, he should be over Fox and after Squirtle.
Why Squirtle? Some people (like me) doesn't use the Pokémon from the Trainer and others want more Sonic characters. Silver...Tails...Shadow...Metal Sonic... So why not put them over unused characters.

So the progress was really good, the animation is 80% done. I need to wait KCMM is back for take the model by GBC. If you want to see some progress here a video :

Oh and why not a stage? All characters in Brawl got his official stage :
