when playing with your friends, bot lane is a great place to put them to help them get better

you can tell them what to do, like go in the bush and whatnot

even if they aren't the best, they'll slowly learn and get better faster because instead of having to try out so many different things, you can tell them what are good things to do.

and that's why i liked to play cait in lower ELO, she is what got me to 1500/1600

@bad support doesn't matter much

I asked because Voorhese is always telling me about how when he gets a bad support he gets denyed during all of laneing phase and gets behind in CS and in some cases exp. + other team gets free dragons

put a 1700 ad with a 1200 support and they'll beat a 1400 ad+support every time

first game in the 1600's, also first game with my new surfer singed skin:

i'm first pick, i select singed and call top. 2 of my teammates were on the same team last game and hated each other, and a third teammate got pissed at them and instalocked nidalee top as third pick, saying he didn't care whether we win or not. 4th and 5th pick both take smite and both intend to jungle. i end up going mid.

15 minutes later: our nidalee has 4 kills against their solo top ryze, our jungle ww stole every blue buff, our jungle lee sin camped bot and fed our ezreal like 5 kills, and i manage to outfarm ahri mid and take the tower.

moral: tolerate angry people and they may end up carrying you. elo hell turns into elo heaven if you don't quit early

Hard to play, has to deal with gay bull****, no CC to make things easier, the more coordinated people are the harder it is to do great with her (find her in the jungle 1 v 1 or 2 v 1 and she gets the jump on you, assuming she even barely fed can be hard to stop her snowballing over and over)

Mogwai, just thought I let you know DotA 2 shop has gotten a little better, although still not hotkey support. You can toggle the shop into grid form where you can see every component sold at the shop on one page, that's sorted by colums by the old pages they had. Much faster purchasing, less clicks all around, but still no hotkeys makes me sad.

if you're gonna play like a *****/not go for kills in lane, the best strategy is to push to their tower 24/7 for the entire game after you get lv. 5 or so. every time you shop, get 2 wards for both sides of your lane (ward the entrance to river on both sides, those wards benefit your team way more than ****ty side-of-lane mid wards.)

continue pushing with blue buff and catalyst the entire game, this will force your opponent to be stuck clearing waves at their tower while you complete other tasks on the map (farm small camps, gank, assist jungler.) when your ult and flash are up, you can run through wards in over-extended lanes for really strong gonks.

playing like this is good vs. heros with ****ty wave clear (lots of picks esp. assassins,) but will get wrecked by people with faster wave clear or stronger lane presence (pantheon)

supatip: if u can't deal with antimage picks like lb/veigar(95% chance ur playing it wrong n00b) get negatron early and get abyssal after catalyst (or after 2 dorans if ur really getting gonna get wrecked)

I dislike the pony internet community (not so much the individuals, but the amorphous mass itself) as a rule because Poe's law applies to pony material.
