Biggest Shoutout i've ever had.Slush: Fun dittos man. You've definitely got some tricks. I think you've just gotta get more character experience. You were doing fine against me (especially when you had Yoshi's Island's slopes to play on). Honestly, the Hobo tournaments are the hardest tournaments I've ever been to. The Houston/Texas smash scene is stupidly good, and I know you drove a long way for it and aren't happy with your placement, but playing against top-ranked people is the only way to get better. I've been driving to Houston for over a year now just to get my butt kicked, and my first time there I got dead last, and I was NOT happy. Just keep striving forward and reppin' that dino and it'll just click one day. If you ever want critique on your vids, just ask me directly and I'll give you my input. I don't go onto the Yoshi boards anymore except for the match-up threads.
To be honest, I have never read any character MU threads. I only started looking at the current ones because I got bored at work and thought it'd be a good way to kill some time and maybe find out something I didn't know. Hands-on experience is TONS more useful than reading words that tell you want to do. As I said, Hobo is incredibly stiff competition. It's literally like getting thrown into a pool with Ally, M2K, and 6 other people and told you have to get 3rd or you don't even get to play in the tournament, and it's also a lot harder to start in these tournaments because Xyro seeds them as best he can, so (i wish it were different, but sadly it's not) as long as you're placing near the bottom, you have to go against the top players first. It'll be a difficult road man (I know because I was in the exact same position last year), but I'm confident that you'll keep faith and continue onward, and you'll break through soon.Biggest Shoutout i've ever had.
They were fun dittos my problem was first time for offline dittos with someone who know how to use Yoshi! (Sorry Alejandro and kingsville Yoshi) I'm good with Yoshi but problem is Short term memory loss and I can read 7 pages of (Example) Lucario MU and probably only remember 2 or 3 things against him. I did terrible on most of our matches but Delfino Plaza I finally got my game on (Fuuuu! yugioh GX came up in my head) and got two stocks off you while I was at my third still.
As for my Dino not clicking yet, you're right. Will hopefully before MLG Dallas and striving to train more and go to as many smashfests (Only one this month) in SA we have.
I know, I just didn't have any cash on me at the time.i asked you to mm................
That's right, this HOBO was so special that Xyro typed in COMPLETELY PROPER GRAMMAR.I wanna give a special shoutout to MikeHaze, Deva and Disciple! This hobo was really fun ONLY because of you guys. THANK YOU for flying out to HOBO 28(i hope it was worth your time). We got great vids of you guys and of course great times. You guys are always welcome back to tx anytime you wanna come back down.
