Could "first-timers" also get something off as well? I probably have someone that's willing to come along with me as long as we aren't too weird. . . . . >.<

But idk about the "out-of-towners" bit, might make pots uneven and stuff D:

The payouts are based on percentages. Like if there are 4 out of towners, Dawson would probably be out $10? That's not too bad.

Personally, I'd rather throw away my $10 to help subsidize an out-of-towner rather than have it thrown into the tournament pot.

I think we already have a first-timer half-off entry thing. They can also get another 50% off if they main Peach

I'm such a poor example of a competitive Brawl player. I play the character I want and in the playstyle I want, even though both end up going against me.

I don't really have self-control though I honestly do try to play defensive but then it escapes me and I just go in. Also, I get mad super easily.

one of my favourite memories of kevin is at the monthly where we were super cramped and we were playing doubles friendlies with a random kid from TCG. kevin's all like "oh hi what's your name you should play zelda teehee" and then when kev sits down to play himself he gets gimped as zelda and just screams "THATS ****ING GAY" right next to the kid hahahaha
