I was going to try and have smashers over tomorrow who would be my ride but they are busy now, and i don't know if i could get them over and get my parents convinced before the tourney...

Yeah, probably going to be one of the largest Melee tourneys in a while.

Pirate ship should definitely be banned.

PS2 I'm on the fence about. It is a gay stage but there aren't any characters I know of that do well on it so I don't see why anyone would CP it anyway.

How often does anyone really get hit by Klap Traps? I get taken to Japes quite a bit and they've never affected me that much. They only show up twice every 10 seconds anyway, not enough to make a huge difference.

But yeah, I guess if I had to choose between banning Pictochat and Japes I'd ban Japes.

No, it's 10 seconds for each side. On the left side it's when the last number is 7 (0:57, 0:47, 0:37, etc.) and on the right side it's when the last number is 5 (0:55, 0:45, 0:35, etc.).
