A resurgence of ye olde Las Picturas topic? How wonderful! I'm sure nobody remembers me, but i guess I'll update with a new picture anyway, since my old picture from the first page of this topic is in the old UBB code, not the new spiffy vB code, and the link is all nasty looking.

This picture was taken about three or four weeks ago while i was hiking in New Mexico. We were eating lunch inside a cantina run by the wonderful people of Ponil. I'm the one in the red shirt, enjoying my crackers.

It's nice to come back every once in awhile and see people here who I remember from back in the day, and even topics that I remember.

Yeah, the photographer forced me into that pose though. In the picture I actually chose, I'm looking at the camera.

**** it, I know this, but the **** thing is just untamable. The only way to get that **** out of my face seems to be to shave it. You know, I've tried the gelled woof look to get it out of my forehead but unless I use the kind of gel that turns hair rock-solid, which is pretty disgusting, it just falls right back down.

Also, a style like that requires frequent haircuts, a feat I've never been able to manage. I hate haircuts.

That's me on the left just over a year ago, after a jazz concert. Now I'm several inches taller, a bit more muscular, and my hair is 2 or 3 inches longer. For the record, it's not me that's short, the guy on the right is super tall. About 6'4'' or 6'5'' I think. Heh. I'll try to find a more recent picture soon.
