I wish my Wii U wasn't confiscated right now. But yeah, I think Link can still do pretty well with what he's got, he just has more trouble in CQC. I'll miss being able to get kill setups with that move.It must be nice for your main to be buffed in a patch. Link lost his best kill setup

I know. As my main practice partner is a Link main he got annoyed to say the least. However, Link still has great options and I'm sure you guys have made it work. I know he has, and has won some small tournaments here and there as well. I'm trying to get him to compete more though. His Link is something to watch. He will be going to Super Smash Con though.Link lost his best kill setup

You guys should really try out equipment mobility buffs with Link sometime. He feels amazing. We should use him when playing online for the hell of it every now and then. It's like a breath of fresh air lol.
Wait, does he have a smashboards account or some other smash alias? Do we know him?
I've tried to have him make one but he still hasn't gotten around to doing so. He goes by Rooky I believe when playing Smash. He's played Link since 64. In fact, back in the brawl days, I uploaded and made a thread on the Link boards about his Link vs. Lord HDL's (The well known Melee Link player) in tournament. Anyways, as of right now he is mostly a wifi warrior but I've been slowly convincing him to go to tournaments. So yea as of right now unknown but I'm trying to change that.

Could always make a string/read video. I've always thought it more powerful to watch a section where a player makes multiple perfect shields, solid strings, and generally shuts the other person out/answers everything they throw out rather than lightning quick combos. Anticipation, improvisation, compensation. I guess I just prefer jazz.
