your logic/arguments/whatever doesn't mean anything, I set a bar, I have my own reasons for why im doing it this way that you can agree or disagree with, but in the end it doesnt matter. Peer pressure wont work, being nice, or mean wont work, what yall should do if you really want it to happen is hype it,and convince up to 20 people to come, which means they post and confirm that they have rides. If you think, "this inst my job, f it I dont want to go anymore", Im fine with that, proves you didnt really care enough to make this happen anyway, Ill openly admit I dont. I think ive hosted enough tournaments to have this one be on yall, anymore complaining and Ill just say its cancelled now, cuz im trying to help the community not stir it up.

Thanks, you're pretty good yourself.

Also. No-IDea:definitely best samus I've played.

thanks for hosting!

I had a great time at the fest albeit i wish there were more players. Then again I was a little strapped for time so this was the most I would have gotten anyway.

@ Seagull Man - Good Wolf. Wish I didnt suck at the MU.

If it was 08 I'd totally learn the match up :awesome:

Ganon dittos was fun too.

And sorry I didnt get to play you, Pink Fresh. Next time!

I'll make sure to keep an eye on this thread while I'm in North VA.

Cheers

You left about 10-20 minutes prior to when I got there with that other Wii making it two setups.

And that Pidgeotto avatar is sexy.

Not another chudat fest where he says 50 people are coming and only 7 people arrive.
I will have to respectfully say that you are wrong. ChuDat has NEVER said that "50 people are coming!!!" and only have 7 or a few people show up. If you have proof of this, then prove it but until then you are making ChuDat look bad. Don't forget you also made a negative remark about his advertisement a while back (In fact, his advertisement has been VERY successful from 2005 - 2009 averaging about 25 players per tournament on a WEEKLY basis LOL).

http://allisbrawl.com/ttournament.aspx?id=4042 - 25 people
http://allisbrawl.com/ttournament.aspx?id=3702 - 50 people
http://allisbrawl.com/ttournament.aspx?id=7042 - 25 people
http://allisbrawl.com/ttournament.aspx?id=380 - 27 people

You used to be cool Omni.

And even then, if he wants compensation, I said people probably wouldn't mind coughing up $2 if it's a large fest (10+ which so far it shows you can get at least that if half flake out.) It's not like you're Chu and charging $5 for crap.
Again, I would have to respectfully say that you are wrong with this as well. Chu has never charged a $5 venue fee for a bi-weekly UNLESS it was a special occasion such as the Thanks giving themed bi-weekly which was used to purchase Pizza and as an incentive to bring food. ChuDat bi-weeklies weren't crap. He was an experienced and chill TO. He took care and greeted every smasher that entered his home. Not to mention he hosted cheap tournaments for your cheap *** LOL. Get your facts straight before talking ****. ;)

It seems like everyone has finally jumped on the chudat hating band wagon now that he's gone. I don't blame ya'll. In my opinion, the Brawl community (mainly MD/VA) is filled with spiteful, jealous, obnoxious people.

Please more haters. He loves the attention LOL

there was the time he charged a 3$ venue fee despite only doing crews because there weren't enough people to hold a tourny, just saying

you are cheap, end of story LOL

On a serious note and to discuss what you have said, crews was $2 to enter. By Chu's definition, if you pay to enter a competition, then it is a tournament. Thus, the venue fee has to be paid.

By your definition, a tournament is only a tournament if there is a bracket.... that is opinion.

So we got two different opinions. The people who were nice about it paid and the person that didn't pay was too cheap to pay so he used his words to get out of it like all black men do LOL. nah j/k black guys <3

if you wanna really be technical, the venue fee was being paid for what was advertised which was teams and a singles tournament. since neither occurred, the venue fee should not be collected. now if people agreed to pay a venue fee for just a crew battle, it would have been fine, but only if that was agreed on before the event, you can't force the agreement after the event is held

i need a teammate eff

neo, seagull, someone form md/va go who's partnerless and can carry me :l

ah chu

its funny how the community is affected with out him here. a lot of rivalries vanished without him. drama is good for hype. I'm pretty sure it would be beneficial to have him back.

LOL, what's the deal with all of the Aposl hate? He directly said from the very beginning what his conditions were for the tournament. People are acting like he owes it to them or something. Grow up and be appreciative.
