I saw that Captain Falcon guy in person, it was at PAX this August - in fact, it looks like that picture was taken of him standing in line, and I was right next to him the entire time in line, it was sweet. Probably the sweetest nintendo character costume I've seen. Also, he does a really good Phoenix Wright outfit as well...

that first Falcon pic made me laugh, and the 2nd one was 2222 good.
I was walking around campus on Halloween and I met Ike.
He had a wooden Ragnell that was like, 6-7 feet long, and the costume matched.
D: I had to catch a bus so I couldn't take a pic of him, but I asked him if he fights for his friends, and he said yes.

For being a rather 'rushed' halloween costume, my Falco didn't turn out too bad. I might try to build a better one in the future, one that's comfortable, more accurate, and I lacked one feature I really wanted: to be able to drink a beer through the mask.

A lot of the costumes are excellent and must have taken a long time. Very impressive. But then there is another part of me that wants to say LOL WHAT NERDS! These definitely take smash obsession to another level. Unless it is Halloween or you are getting paid I can't see a logical reason to do this. But once again I must admit some of these are really impressive.
