Doesn't Neil have, like, the rest of his high school career to take the ACT? Plus, it's not like the SAT, the ACT is pretty mellow.

I did too, it was part of the school's program, but must school work be higher priority than fun? I think not. Neil needs to relax, he'll become a doctor and wont have funtimes. So he needs to compensate for the future, by having funtimes now.

i cant go to the unm tourny, im entering in a dodgeball tourny that day :D
What? Can I have information? I want to enter, too.

challenge acceoted davis
You're on.

after the tourny on sat we should play dodgeball somewhere =0 i need some training
YES YES YES! I say we organize a giant dodgeball game with the Smash community and then some.

I **** at dodgeball Z-man, my short stature and speed make me naturally pro at it. Molly's pretty pro herself, she saved us at a dodgeball tourny in ND. JT! and Steve-O claim to be **** in it as well.

Welcome, Soldier! *drops confetti*

I say keep the price at $5, so it won't be too expensive for those planning on going to the Anime Club one as well, not to mentio WHOBO/Genesis/North Dakota >_> <_<...anime club one is exciting, like the big turn outs. Anyone know where the results are fom the last one are? They have the results from the october one on the anime website, but not from the December one for some reason...

Also, my last comment was ignored about making sure double-blind picking is monitered at tournies, so I'll restate it here.
That's awesome man. I think dodgeball officially needs to be played. Especially since everyone claims to be ****.

18th 18th 18th :|

SaturdaYyYyYyy after whobo you bunch of tricks!

Let us go over WHOBO plans once more...

Dark Meow cruises on through and picks up all of NM (Kyle, Davis, Neil, and myself) and we proceed on to Houston (stopping by his friend's house to hang out, or dropping off Kyle, THEN stopping at Brandon's friend's place) and then we practice there a bit, then myself and Davis **** the 2v2 ISP tourney on Friday, then **** our respective pools, then the next day we meet up in the Winner's Finals and then again in Grand Finals, splitting the pot and ****** whobo, then depart immediately after receiving money, correct?

Sounds like a mighty fine plan, Starfox.
I guess that's the plan. I haven't played Brawl since... the church tournament? I don't remember.

Doesn't Neil have, like, the rest of his high school career to take the ACT? Plus, it's not like the SAT, the ACT is pretty mellow.
I heard the SAT was easier than the ACT.

If you find a gamer tag embarrassing or the girl is too immature to understand it for what it is (it's basically a screenname like on AIM or MSN) then either don't date ******** girls, or don't participate in gaming :D

davis- sorry bro, the dodgeball thing is only for sandia (i think). but if im wrong join my team, we need two more players. btw its at the jcc on the 25th of april and a 3 dolla entry fee.

sinz- if a girl cant apriciate your competitive gaming passion then shes not worth it. i could care less if someone calls me zman when i make my move on the ladies :O

but if time permits tomorrw we should all go to a park or something and have a big dodgeball mm

No, I mean like if I don't respond to you saying sinz, its probably because I didn't hear my name. I don't hear Sinz anywhere but at tourneys, so any time other than a tourney I probably won't respond to it. So, just use Everett instead :D

Nolan, I was at the swing club on a date, and Ax comes out saying Sinz. Sinz! And I don't notice him because I am talking to my date, and then she is like. Someone is yelling toward you, then I hear. That was a tad embarrassing.

Wow Neil. Way to make me feel like crap. I got a 28 and I was happy about it.

Jerk. To think I practiced Melee today.

Neil...you're an idiot, no offense. 31 is good, period. In fact, it qualifies you for almost every scholarship ever. I just think you're trying to brag in a roundabout way, personally.

I practiced Melee. Also...you guys have a funny view of girls thinking video games are immature. But I'm going to stay out of it, lol.

That's not what you said at first. Nice try, though.

I don't care what you say or America says. A score of 31 sucks
It does suck. Go climb a wall of ***** and when you are done, kill yourself. If you can't even beat a 31 you're obviously as intelligent as a piece of poop stapled to fly paper. No one wants to talk to you.

Again with the embarrassing thing.

A 31 sucks. Kill yourself now. Even CO kids can get a 32 in junior year.
Agreed. ****.

Lol a 31 is freaking good.

And I hate to say it but I agree with Paul for the most part. Games are fun but they aren't going to lead us anywhere in life. But I still play just because it makes me happy =D And my girlfriend really hates the thought of me playing games competitively... :( but screw her I'm still competing tomorrow lol

I would write a long post about why games (good games) aren't a waste of time, but that would be a waste of time.

Neil, you've got one more chance at the ACT. But if you don't get a 37 this time, ****ing kill yourself.

I made that post simply to invigorate discussion on people's perceptions on the definition of relative intelligence. Apparently it worked ;) Although standardized testing is still ambiguous bull**** that has absolutely nothing to do with intelligence
lol I love everybody's veiled humor in response

Anyways yeah I'll be at the melee tournament ~3:30 pm and I'll bring two TVs and and a GCN+Wii (that wii will NOT be brawl, I vehemently oppose such blasphemy. I keep my wii and my brawl (which hopefully won't be mine someday) in opposite corners of the living room, just so all of you know.
That was a joke; of course I appreciate brawl and will keep it.

Is there a Brawl tournament today?!

When and where?

That's very narrow minded and critical. Of course video games can lead you somewhere in life. Just as movies, theater, books, or music can.

ummmm will somebody bring an extra copy of melee or two? I think we'll have more setups than copies :p

also, as for video games, it CAN lead you somewhere to life, but the only problem is how difficult it is for video games to open that door, especially considering how educators view video games. They just aren't able to create a connection showing how video games are actually useful and therefore scorn it when they shouldn't be.
Hell, I even list smashboards-related stuff in my resumes/interviews/applications/volunteer experience. And NOBODY ever questioned it.

@Kash-Hellz yeah, I think we need to have us a dodgeball tourney. Put the honor on the line

@Sinz-lol at me cockblocking you...it was more out of sheer shock that of all places, that's where I would see you. Sides, "Sinz" sounds cool enough, that should have just aroused that girl more :D

@Goyf-Not sure if I'm coming for friendlies...if it lasts long, I mihgt, but if not, definitely bring it to the upcoming Brawl ones. I might have to reformat my team, now that everyone and their grandma knows who I use.

@Dekar, Kash-*****, also

It's a slowly evolving media source among other things. Video games will be getting a bigger piece of the pie very soon, methinks.

Blame Zman. I don't have any idea what to counterpick in melee.

Good fest (that was really what it was if you don't play competitive melee/SF4). Too lazy for shoutouts.

Also, MK is gay.

Lol Tangela. Whoever thought of that team name is a ****ing genius. I didn't even hear that name last night

I'd type shoutouts, but it'll amount to nothing anyway.
I guess the only thing I have to say is - good **** everybody :)
Oh, and http://neilsucksallthedicks.com

I need to drill some Brawl practice in. Would anyone (namely Dekar, Goyf, GoldenGlove, Sinz, and Overgames) want to play today at my house or something?
Okay, I've ultimately changed my position on brawl since the last few weeks. From now on, I'm willing to play brawl friendlies to help others get practice in :)
I may stop by for a few hours, but I probably won't bring anything except my controller
Dekar's been bugging the **** out of me asking for ROB practice anyway
