A redesign of the Wii U would be fine, as the hardware has not actually been publicly released yet. Anything more than a minor change to layout or something to that effect for the 3DS, without telling people about it when changing the current model's price to $170, would likely cause an outrage.

Yea, I heard that it was indeed it's 25th anniversary, seeing as Nintendo mentioned it was a "huge" announcement and seeing how popular Metroid is I'm guessing that will probably be it, maybe we might also get some juicy scoop regarding the 3DS itself, since after all; will be a Nintendo 3DS announcement.
