I have a question, what is ledge infinite, and ledge grabs? I can't find a video that is short enough for me to watch through a proxy >< if someone could just explain it, i'm sure i can figure it out. Just been confused because i can't see it on a video, and noone explains it.
When you infinite someone on the edge, watch this video

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=23UyrHXK36

A ledge infinite is the same as the infinite its just that its on the ledge (duh lolz) and it can only be done on another King DeDeDe.

What's everyone favorite move as D3?
The "The Big G@y dance" Taunt, I am being serious.
Look at the serious face. :ohwell:

IIRC, Wario and ROB can be ledge infinited aswell or not? Also, should a DDD spot dodge or roll dodge more?
No, ledge infinite is ONLY D3

Spot dodge. DDD has a nice one.

His roll isnt bad, but if you get good at spot dodges youll thank yourself.

How is the pivot grab performed? I'm thinking that pivot grabs are when you're dashing towards your opponent and you quickly turn around and grab them, am i right? If this is true, when i watch some of the pro D3 videos they're all so much faster than my pivot grab. I have to slightly wait for D3 to swing around his hammer. What am I doing wrong?

Everything.

Pivot grab is not that useful to learn with DeDeDe , because most of the time all you wanna do is chaingrab your opponent, if they spot dodge you can really punish it because DeDeDe runs somewhat slow so he'll not run fast enough to do a Pivot grab and plus he doesn't have grab boost for being so ph@t its worthless.

pivot grab is actually quite nice for 2 reasons
the fact that if timed right you can grab mk out of his tornado
*epic ***** lol
and if you're cging your opponent across the stage
and you notice they enjoy spot dodging after dthrows then you can cg them to one side
stop and pivot grab to punish their spot dodge then cg them to the other side for like 60+ damage
x)

This doesn't happen often... not many people spot dodge after a chaingrab because THEY CAN'T not even the people DeDeDe can't chaingrab.

And its kinda hard to pull off because DeDeDe is f@kin slow.

Read the question guys, he's not asking why pivot grabbing is good, he's asking how to do it.

Honestly, I have trouble with it too, but from what I understand it's basically like this:

1. You're dashing.
2. Dash past the opponent.
3. Once you're past them, press towards the opponent and the grab button really quickly, like you're doing a smash attack. You should skip the turnaround animation and grab them.

Basically, it's kind of like dashdancing in the sense that you have to get good at changing the direction of your dash before the turnaround animation starts.

lol pivot grab is easy just go one way then press the opposite direction and Z at the same time and its VERY useful with Dedede.

Also the infinite on wario is only if you grab him out of his 2nd jump

Reverse Jump Canceled Usmash (RJCUS)

As we all know King DeDeDe's DAC is useless and his Hyphen Smash sucks. But I was playing last night with DeDeDe's Usmash and I found this O_O

If you run do a pivot (turn around) then hit jump and C-stick up at the same time, DeDeDe will make an Usmash backwards giving a little sliding bonus.

This is called "Reverse Jump canceled Usmash" I believe.

So basically do this :

Run Forward -> Pivot -> Usmash + Jump at the same time = Slidding Usmash.

I tested this last night it works 100%.

So here's a vid.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d_aJUiqJhrE&feature=channel_page

I did a distance difference to see which slides farther, DAC, RJCUS or Hyphen Smash.

I did them in this order:

DAC - Reachs the 1st arrow of FD.
RJCU - Reachs the 3rd arrow of FD.
Hyphen Smash - Reachs the 2nd arrow of FD.

If you do a DAC you won't get any slide, you get a slide by doing a Reverse Jump Canceled Usmash.

No, not a DAC, sorry, but I don't know the technical name.

You can cancel a dash at any time and use your upsmash. This gives Dededee a tiny slide. Is this slide bigger?

Yes, its like 3 times bigger lol, still more useful.

P.S: Thats called "Hyphen Smashing" when you dash and use your Usmash.

Jump Canceled Usmashing is an AT on many chars. *I* assume you could reverse it, and have no idea what D3's Jump Canceled Usmash looks like.

Hmmm. . . .
May have something here.
A chain grab on metaknight against a wall.
Down throw, double jab (first one will miss), then grab and repeat.

Need to see that against a human. If it's un-DI-able, it could be useful. There's a chance it could be useful against non-changrabbables other than Meta Knight on top of that.

I'm not sure how this differs if pulled off correctly from a dashing up smash. Can you show me the speed and distance difference? I.E.- Start from one edge of FD, do it "correctly" and then do a DAC and then a dashing up smash. DAC shouldn't move you much at all and for a dashing upsmash just dash and hit up smash as soon as you can. I want to see the speed and distance of all three of these.

I should have made that clear when I posted x.x

Ok, I got it I'll do the video right now.

From one edge to FD I'll show you the distance difference of DAC, Hyphen Smash & RJCU.

It's important you do it from the same starting position each time. So we can see the speed and the distance. That's how I was sold when the original DAC video came out.
