If it helps any, I most likely will need a partner for doubles...sooo... yeah. I haven't played Melee in ages, and I've only been to one tournament for Brawl(however, I did win three matches, which I 'wtf'd' afterwards...only had been playing Brawl for ONE day...)

Me and taco are gonna just wing it, as in we're probably going to team, but if there are like 2-3 people looking for teamates may split up. It will be a on site decision. I know it's a better feeling to KNOW you have a partner so don't count on us splitting up. Although it's very possible.

Churches usually make really good venues and don't care too much about what you do...

The last tourney I went to where the venue was a church... Fearless got high as *** in the parking lot and I just made out with Ginger for a majority of the time. I almost got in trouble for cussing on the mic though.

Either way, they shouldn't care that much.

I guess my partner is going to be an 'on site decision' lol. For anyone interested, in melee doubles I like to play a campy sheik, altho I can play fox alright too. In brawl doubles, I can be the tornado wh0re as usual or try out my wario or marth.

edit: who wants to bring a setup to go with my tv. I can bring a tv, but not the wii.

As for the two churches I'm looking at, i'll get back to you. I only thought of that because I remember hearing stories about ChuDat (and apparently Gmoney) going to churches for tournies.

LS it's ok, I went to a MELEE tournament at a church last year (where I met Callie, that chick at Books A Million that was hot for me, and not you), I didn't burst into flames.
