The biggest issue for me so far is how slow the site seems to be now. I don't know if it's just my imagination, but even if it isn't, I'm sure the site's performance will get better after the first day being online.

Just realized I'm no longer pranked! I was starting to believe that was going to be permenant...

Yeah man just come by and play. The only one you need to pay for is to compete in a brawl tournament but otherwise melee and project melee is always free

Okay cool, this will be the first tourney i ever go see in person so that's why i ask so many questions.
I'll defiantly come and try to meet some people, maybe get a few friend codes.

So I just realized that not clawing the analog is gonna be a tougher habit to break then I thought it would be. I was playing Super Mario Sunshine earlier and I was freaking clawing on THAT. I feel that with just my thumb I'm going to have sloppy control of my character.

Well idk I think people were talking about maybe doing a for money PM tournament every once and awhile. Not to say it won't usually be free, but "always free" probably won't happen.

You could always set like a quarterly tournament that has money on the line. Once every 4 months seems pretty reasonable imo. Gives a little incentive to try a little harder.

playing for money might get me to stick to a character or something. Or put in more effort to get good with a character. The biggest problem is the more I play melee, the more I get annoyed by the differences in timing in Project M. Project M was better when I was too rusty in melee to notice the differences lol.

Just so you know Stevo, the PM setup at Calgary was the wifi version which doesn't have the landing detection thing implemented iirc. That's why it felt off for a lot of people actually.

But WD OoS still doesn't work like melee anyway.

why are you trying to break claw?

also i really think we should start doing $5 singles for pm tourneys often
free tourneys aren't very exciting when theres nothing to practice for

What Ron said. The analog rubber starts to rip over time and eventually, loosen and peel off due to my claw style. Most likely because of the pressure placed on the sides of the rubber top.

Guessing the new Makoto theme released has you hyped, Ron? (it's awesome! so's Awakening the Chaos II)

Also, I finally got my Wii2HDMI adapter so I'll be testing it to feel for any input delay. Kinda excited. I also got a GC to PC adapter that allows for two controllers, so I may bring my laptop for anyone who wants to try out and play some Super Smash Flash 2. Surprisingly legit. Anyway, will update once I've confirmed the legitness of this adapter.
