Thanks to everyone for coming and making this tourney so amazing. It was great seeing all you guys and hanging out with you. I was thinking of maybe not coming but I decided to come and have fun and absolutely 0 regrets. This might be my last tourney, I don't know what's happening in my life. The day before the tourney my father actually divorced my mother after a lot of bad family events. I'm glad that I was able to escape reality for at least a couple days to hang out with my friends and have one of the best weekends of my life. Thanks for making it happen Day and Arcade Legacies, thanks for bringing me SP, and thanks to the awesome community.

As much as I really would have loved it to see a sheik get that far (trust me, this hype was close to the amount I get from Junebug/Trela's shenanigans, Sheik is just so awesome), I think the rules were the ultimate call, and hence at the same time the biggest reason to blame. "Sportsmanship" could've gone either way, but the stronger example to me imo would have been to give the win. However, I think the call should've been on the TO, and then afterwards a revision would probably be necessary to assess what needs to be done.

- really wished logic and i had switched sides of the bracket...might've seen a ddd at 2nd then?

- REALLY wanted judo to win so i could play an exciting, interesting set with judo than play someone from my own region in a ****ty matchup

- 1st in brawl teams, 1st in minus teams, 1st in minus singles...5th in brawl singles. wanted the full sweep

- brawl minus is a bad game to play in tournaments, get luigi'd midwest

- holy **** when did i get so fat, i guess you don't see it when you look in the mirror but after watching the stream i look like the fat kid from drake and josh, time for dat diet

if you watch all of our sets logic and i go about even, then he turns the camp on and it's near-impossible to get in to get the kill, that same exact situation has happened at least three times in our recent sets (me being almost a full stock up then losing), it's not like i can outcamp him or anything

what can i say though, he learned the MU

then again it's not like he didn't deserve to win anyway, he's been consistently playing recently whereas i've kinda stopped for a while, and coming back on that last stock meant he def deserved it

Shugo, Kel are among the really good MK's in our region and as for the other region that came out: MD/VD there's Omni (arguable), NEO (mostly Marth iirc) and Junebug. Outside of Junebug (because he's a national level player) and Shugo there aren't national level MK at all. Kel is also arguable, I think.

Plus, you know, the Midwest is kind of known for character diversity among it's top players.
