It depends of which stage are they based... If most of them are FD based, you will only need to do this once. If not, then you will need to do it more times, but it's not tedious at all I guess O.o

Mine are various, since I have every stage in the game completely replaced except FD, BF, and Lylat, since it CAN'T be replaced. XD;

*sighs and gets to work*

As of Icons per row,

Alright, thanks. I created (in Paint) my own layout for a design for page 1. Now I'm going to find as many custom stages as I want to use, then I'll get to work making my code.

And you said that the tracklist modifier always has that glitch where it freezes if you go back to the title screen? But ignoring that, it works just as intended?

This is approximately what I'll be making with my code:

I might mess around with the top and bottom rows, or maybe not. The 2 non-Nintendo stages will be on page 2 along with the custom stages.

SmashHackers tipped me off over on KC:MM to the fact that some stages will actually work over Lylat Cruise. Right now I'm using the SSB64 Intro stage over STGSTARFOX_GDIFF.PAC and an FD .rel file for st_starfox.rel.
I tried Venom and Sector Z, and neither of them worked.

That looks like a pretty wonderful layout. Please post a version for Eternal Yoshi's Maxed SSS code (both pages), as well as however many Customs you were going to add.

You might also consider the following changes to your layout:
Spaces listed as Row:Column
Move PictoChat to 1:4
Move WarioWare to 1:5
Move Mario Bros (Famicom) to 1:6
Move Hanenbow to 6:5

This way all of the Mario/Wario stages are closer together. You would have the basic stages at the front and then WarioWare is like PictoChat bc of the transformations and cartoonish nature (you probably grouped it this way for some similar reason).

Crap, you're right. I did forget Mario Bros. I'll move that and then see where the rest of the leftovers fit.

What he said.
C'mon, be fair man. Just because we all use these hacks and some of us understand it, doesn't mean the other people who merely use, and just do that understand it as easily. That's why we have things like the Stage Switcher, and the BRSTM GUI.

We may get it, but it's always good to have an easier and simpler way for the others to do it...So they don't always ask others to do it for them. XD

...The stages I had ported over Spear Pillar are being a pain in the butt... -~-

But other than that, I've got this finished. Now just to wait for the Tracklist Mod to be perfected. :3

And in the end, even the ones that know how to do it will go for the simpliest method, it's what we humans have been looking for in all our lives, in every advancement of humanity.. The comodity.

EY did a f-cking code ready for use. I'd say:

Use his one or go learn it, it ain't as hard as it looks. Stop demanding a GUI just because you're too lazy to understand.

Sorry, but that's the truth even though it hurts.

I'm not asking for GUI, I'm sure I can deal with this as I get some time to read it all (I have been reading it all since it started, but overlooking the codes, not really into this at this moment since I only have a 1GB SD Card which is technically full <.<), my post up there was just stating a fact. =P

I've done my work.
You guys will be able to add custom stage icons using BrawlBox Modset4.0.

I haven't tested it on my wii,but BrawlBox seems to be able to rebuild resources correctly.
So, I don't know if the game makes BEEP.

And I agree with you.

I wasn't referring to you.

I went back to the title screen after playing a match with the Tracklist modifier code on and it didn't freeze for me. Why would it be freezing for you and not me?

Oh and I didn't have a freeze when I went to My Music and change the music of the added stages. I found that nice.

Can someone confirm that when using EYoshi's code we label the customs after 0F (15 base 10) in a straight hex numbering with 25 (37 base 10) being the maximum (ie 10, 11...19, 1A...1F, 20, 21...25)?

Also, does the code I posted work? I unfortunately don't have time to test this for a long time.

Are you using E. Yoshi's versions of the codes? I assume you are using your XML on Riivolution, right? How many custom stages do you have?

I just tried the codes from the opening, but it froze for me once I selected a custom stage!
Every custom stage and rel files are named STGCUSTOMXX.pac and st_customXX.rel.
The rels might be the cause of freezing. But every rel has been converted from Final Destination to the corresponding stage.

You didn't freeze after returning to the title screen. Hmm........
I'm going t reset the My Music for the menu and then try again.
