Things I ban:

*******

Things I don't ban:

EVERYTHING

You guys have a restricted and regulated the Smash Brothers series to the point where you have downplayed the skills required to be great in all circumstances(all items and all stages) and virtually eliminated the opportunity for those who could be great in all circumstances to prove their ability(tournaments don't allow for all circumstances). As well as wildly lowered the incentive to train and become great in all circumstances.

Imposing your will on the community(the rules and regulation) have created nothing but a community largely consisting of smug, snobby, elitist ******* of Smash Brothers players.

Stop worrying about "fairness" and "leveling the playing field" and start creating the best Super Smash Brothers players EVER.

Try the gamefaqs boards, they are more your speed.

Seriously, I don't have fun playing Mushroomy Kingdom, the DK Scrolling level, 75m, or Mario Bros, so why should I play them?

Edit:

I think the neutral stages are:

Final Destination
Battlefield
Smashville
Yoshi's Island
Pokemon Stadium (Melee)

Delfino has a small part where DDD can gimp people with his chain throw, so I was forced to take it off... Maybe I had one more... I can't remember... ><
What about Lylat Cruise and Corneria? If it were me I would even put Pirate Ship, but I would understand why it will likely not be neutral.

None of the stages are banned.

Though ones I dislike playing on are Rumble Falls, 75m, and Hanenbow

Nothing wrong with them, just not the best stages to do a serious brawl on. Though Hanenbow is pretty fun when goofing off.

75m and Mario Bros I only really use for goofing.

They are very difficult to fight on normally, but watching people skitter around 75m and get hit by jacks or having 8-bit item wars with each other on Mario Bros is very funny to me

I've always played what I feel like playing. It's more of a "preference" thing with me. The determining factor, really, has to be the music. :p

We don't 'ban' stages but a few are off the random select. Those are:

75m
Mario Bros
Skyworld
Mushroomy Kingdom (only cause of 1-2)
Temple
Green Greens
Big Blue
Brinstar

I turn off the following stages from my random select:
Mushroomy Kingdom
Rumble Falls
Pokemon Stadium 2
Port Town: Aero Dive
WarioWare, Inc.
New Pork City
Summit
Skyworld
75m
Mario Bros.
Flat Zone 2
Hanenbow
Big Blue
Brinstar
Pokemon Stadium
Temple
Yoshi's Island (Melee)
Jungle Japes

My list isn't about what stages are tourny legal or anything, these are the stages I just play on to have fun 1v1 matches. Some of those stages go back on for ffa matches.

Will you or somebody please tell me how to change the random select? I thought they took it out because I can't find it anywhere. Thanks.

Things I turn off the "random stage select" option:

Battlefield (Dull, see it way too often when playing online anyway.)
Final Destination (As Battlefield.)
Lylat Cruise (As previous two.)
Wario Ware (Invincibility from mini-games.)
Rumble Falls (Not a fan of vertical scrolling stages.)
Norfair (Never liked the lava-based Metroid stages.)
Pokèmon Stadium 2 (Hate the conveyor belt transformation.)
Port Town Aero Dive (Hate the over-powerful cars.)
New Pork City (Just too big, with too much zoom-out most of the time.)
Skyworld (Stage spiking...)
Mario Bros (Overpowered turtles/crabs.)
Flat Zone 2 (Just don't like it.)
Yoshi's Island (Melee) (Also just don't like it.)
Brinstar (See Norfair.)
Green Greens (Explosive blocks, apples from tree, feels too small.)
Big Blue (Just don't like it.)

Wish I could do Mushroomy Kingdom 1-2. 1-1 is great, but I'm not a fan of that darn ceiling on 1-2.

Most selected when I don't do random:

Delfino Plaza
Castle Siege
75m
Green Hill Zone
Frigate Orpheon
Corneria
Hyrule Temple

You get that option once you unlock all of the stages.
