Oh I know, I was laughing fairly hard. I wouldn't even think about considering using these as a very loose base until there was at least 50 MK Banned tournaments. 75 would be better. Too many abnormalities and I don't even know if I'm doing it right. Heck, it will probably never be that relevant for low to bottom tiers: they just don't show up enough to justify things. I don't think Ganondorf is going to quickly drop from that number simply because he never gets used.

But think of it this way: this is the one time we're ever going to see Ganondorf S tier for something like this!

Anyway, here's the update! MK actually doesn't seem to be performing as well as he should be this late weeks... a side effect of the ban, perhaps?

Could it be because of less MK legal tournies? Perhaps less players have been using him recently to prepare for the upcoming metagame? Or maybe MK mains simply lost a lot of morale and performed poorly at/didn't show up to tournaments? Who knows.

Though really, the exceptions aren't "whenever it feels like it". There are specific situations where the exceptions exist, and it is usually due to English not being a phonetic language.

For example, inflections of words with the 'cy' sound (fancied), the suffixes 'ier' and 'iety' on words ending with 'c', etc...

In fact, the only unexplainable exception I can think of off the top of my head would be species...

Well, it worked for PT...barely...and Ness...kinda...and just recently Yoshi just got out of there...

So basically it only has heavily applied to Sonic and Ike.

Jigglypuff is a lot better than her results show. Its a shame she was put in garbage tier from the beginning so no one would notice her, as well as potential mains just going for Wario/MK instead.

That's a very poor excuse, considering how Sonic started: put in garbage tier.

Its time to face reality: except for a few characters getting changes with MK gone, the tier lists now are largely correct and probably won't budge much at all. If in this many years your character hasn't budged, it's for a good reason. Lack of rep no longer works and simply exists to prop up a pipe dream.

Nobody uses Jigglypuff because she sucks. If she didn't suck, somebody would have done something with her by now. People used Sonic because they could tell he's actually better than he was rated, and actually did something with him.

Jigglypuff will never leave bottom tier. Because she's a bottom tier character.
