RAGE! i completely forgot to book for this tournament =(. i really wanted to come to france and play!

i promise to apologise to every french smasher at Berlins calling PERSONALLY =(.

Considering he's been writing pretty weird things lately (cf the awesome SW thread), I think the same. If it wasn't a joke..., well, I guess it would be a waste of money =p

And it's really a shame about the turnout for this, TSL4 was sooo good but I guess there's gonna be a lot of friendly time for the ppl who do actually go :/

Everybody : The venue opens tomorow, so Salepate and I won't be reachable on the internet tomorow. Be sure to write down our phone numbers if you want to contact us. Or simply ask your questions now.

About 15 people (here and on the french board) voted for swiss rounds, and about 5 for pools. So we're likely to do swiss rounds. If we decide to do so, we'll be doing 7 to 8 rounds to be sure the ranking is fair.


Oh and we expect about 40-45 people, so it's gonna be fun after all :)

EDIT : It's more like 50 now :)

just got back from Lyon

nice tourney, we enjoyed it

me and M got 5th place in teams which is okay but we expected better

maybe next time ^^

as far as I know, the singles bracket was going forward when we left, Baxon beat Cyr and was going to face Qlex. Makenshi and Fuzzyness had to play WB finals. I guess KJaB was still alive in the loser bracket, maybe not.

ps.

M forgot a jersey there in the tournament place, if anyone finds it please tell us. It is dark coloured.

kJaB lost to Qlex in Winners Quarsters and then against baxon in looserbracket. Very unfortunate. He & fuzzy ***** teams though pretty badly :)
Amazing tournament btw, great hosts. Loved it!

Hmm.. so you're lurking on the French boards :o

I guess this post is easily understandable even if you don't speak French, except the first sentence : it means that Makenshi lost to Fuzzyness in WF then came back in GF during some really, really close games. As Darko would say : "LAST STOCK, LAST GAME" :laugh:
kJaB and Fuzzyness were really impressive in teams.

We recorded quite a few games (not all of them, we're not AJP =(), but we failed to record Fuzzyness and kJaB pulling out a crazy combo as legit as the wombo/UGS comboes on Darko's Sheik.
