I used to play TOJ... haven't for a while now though =\

i have some variation of tetrs downloaded on my pc and i can beat marathon in under 5 minutes (idk if that's good) but on tetris friends, i sit there and misdrop or my inputs get ignored. is it like melee, where i'm trying to shine before i l-cancel so the shine won't come out? idk. lol but i'm actually having fun playing tetris again.

edit: is TOJ faster?

uh... a 40-line time is probably a better benchmark lol

tetris friends does force you to slow down by quite a bit compared to other tetris games out there, so if you're used to playing a game with no delay on drop or line clear, then it might feel like your inputs are being missed.

i've heard nothing but good things about nullpomino and TOJ, but it's far too late to actually move the tournament to those formats, so...yeah, we're out of luck :/

I think I remember trying to set up nullpomino on my mac but couldn't get it working. Key words being on my mac, so maybe I'll try it on my win7 partition sometime.
