well if you can powershield the lasers consistently then no, if you can't (like myself) then yes. however i have seen a short clip of a falco firing bazillions of laser's at you and jsut walking through them and b-auir the guy. it was pretty shweet

also, whats the new years resolution for the ike boards?

although i do admit, i think we've got the falco matchup down a little harder than it is. also the olimar MU seeing as bthrow>DA ruins him if it sends him offstage

I'm not sure if bthrow->dash attack works or not on olimar or not. I try buffering it but I can't buffer it correctly all the time, and sometimes they get hit, other times they whistle, so dunno what to think.

It seems we have to perfectly buffer it, based on the data we had from bthrow-DA in the Ike guide.

maybe, but i dont think many olimars know the ike MU particularly well, so they may not know they need to whistle.
on the other hand, if they do know they need to whistle, we can always bluff and simply dash grab them...although im not entirely sure if we can grab during whistle frames. has this been tested?

Using the new tier list means quite a bit of extra work for me, since I'll have to re-order the spreadsheet I use to calculate the averages. But it'll be worth it to make it look more up to date. Just copy/paste my list, and be sure to check your last input of ratios to make sure you aren't changing any of your MUs too dramatically without realizing it. If you choose to change a MU dramatically (like 40-60 to 50-50 or something), please provide your reasons for doing so.

This MU just seems to get easier for me all the time; as long as you know how to deal with nades properly and if you can get in close and keep Snake in the air/off stage, the MU really isn't that bad at all.

45-55 -> 50-50
Playing a good Wario main offline has given me a better look at this MU, and it seems to be very much even. Ike can shut out Wario's strong air game as long as he spaces well and sticks mainly to Nair, and grab-release -> Utilt among other things is great for KOing.

50-50 -> 55-45
It's been a long time since I've had a real problem fighting the ICs; once you get them separated with a grab -> pummel -> Bthrow, you just need to keep them separated. If you can get Nana out of the picture you really shouldn't be taking any more damage that stock as long as you space well.

40-60 -> 45-55
Like with Wario, I've been playing a very good R.O.B main offline a lot recently and it's made me realize it isn't as bad of a MU as I thought it was. Get past R.O.B's projectiles, Jab to get him in the air, and then gay him with Fair. He still has advantages on Ike so it's not really even in my mind, but it's definitely winnable.

45-55 -> 55-45
Discussing this MU with Mr. Doom has really changed my mind about it. He has an even more radical view of the MU, but he's definitely managed to convince me that it's certainly not in Peach's favor, and not really even either. I've only played good Peach mains on WiFi, which sort of skews the MU for me because Turnips are more effective and it's easier to buffer attacks on landing when everything auto-cancels. But offline with ease of spacing and a better ability to deal with items, Ike can really shut down Peach's approaches and avoid her KO moves for a long time.

50-50 -> 55-45
Despite the fact San can **** basically any Ike main with his Jiggs, playing other Jigglypuff users has tipped this MU to Ike's favor for me. I still don't see how some people have it as 60-40 Ike's advantage because it's only a very minor edge in my opinion when you consider how much safer Jiggs is off-stage compared to Ike. Jiggs just gets KO'd so early and outranged pretty bad.

Perhaps I should have worded it... better. This is all regarding my first ticket I got 3 months ago.

I just called the municipal court and verified that what I printed out weeks ago was indeed my driver's record and not a receipt.

Today, I have to go back to my apartment and get that and my certificate of completion of defensive driving. Then I have to find out whether I need anything signed by me + a notary.

Then, I have to drop off the two certificates. My deadline is tomorrow. I don't know what would happen if I missed the deadline, but I bet it wouldn't be favorable.

also i know this is in the wrong topic, but you good players over there should do a list of what aerial is better agaisnt certain characters our of n-air and f-air.

A rule of thumb that I like to follow, is if your opponent's entire hitbox is also a hurtbox for their approach options (Fox or Wario for example), stick mainly to Nair. Otherwise, if they have disjointed hitboxes that don't count as hurtboxes (Marth's sword, Snake's tilts), stick mainly with well-spaced or retreating Fairs. Nair is generally more safe in almost any situation, except in some rare cases like DDD with his silly grab range.

well i've played ixisinaugus, who is by far the best bowser in europe (by thati think 'the only one') and although it was doubles in which i was elft one stock against him with two, i was gonig relatively even with him, and im not exactly good XD
