Yeah I'm glad too he showed up in this instead of Marvel. Smash is the better game for sure. Also, I hope his inclusion leads to a revival of his series on the Wii U.

And seeing how they've transfered pretty much all of Megaman's movements from the classic games, I wouldn't be surprised if they transfered this as well.

OK, I'm not quite sure yet, but has ANY footage revealed Rush Coil can be used in air? Otherwise...



I'm all up for an "alternate" air-special, because you CAN'T abandon your favorite robot dog.

Look at the developer direct. Sakurai shows it off when he's showing off Mega Man's aerial attacks.

Mario can only gaze in awe as Megaman shows him how a real Capcom born SHORYUKEN!!! is done.

Seriously though, I love this picture. Though, I think the real star of the show is at the bottom right corner.

If you mean that's some other character, I'm fairly sure that's just from the start of Mario's Shoryuken (now it's in my head).

Besides, the real star of the show is clearly the blue guy in that picture :p

0_0; I completely forgot about Mario's "spark" at the start of his up special. That's what happens when you haven't played Smash in 3 years.:facepalm:

On a side note I wonder if Megaman can smash blocks with that? He could shoryuken a "?" block for a feather and then fly directly to Dr.Wily's room rather than relying on the teleportation system. :awesome:

SHORYUKEN was honestly my first reaction to that pic.

So, what are people's theories on the Yellow Devil in SSB4? And, will he be nerfed so we don't have to use the Elec-Beam Glitch?

I'm guessing Yellow Devil will be a boss battle, not only for the Boss Battles mode but maybe, if a Melee-style adventure mode returns, Boss Battles will be a type of level (with the boss being randomly generated between all of the bosses).

Yes.. I like that Idea. ANYWAY, how about taunts? We have that one confirmed, but what about the rest?

Yeah, he's still my personal favorite newcomer. Megaman's just has a lot of cool attacks. But Little Mac and Rosalina seem pretty cool too.

Yeah, I had opened a costume thread for those interested. As for the Comic series, I'm pretty interested in it myself. Maybe I could look into it once the new volume of the Amazing Spider-Man drops.

I never got the chance to read the comics sadly, but yes a "Rock" alternate costume would be incredible to say the least.
