I listened to the song briefly, pretty good stuff. They remind me of The Grateful Dead.

Here are a few contributions from me (click for youtube link):

Another Morning Stoner by ...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead

Fireworks by Animal Collective

Behaving Badly by Animals as Leaders

Film by Aphex Twin

Napoleon Solo by At the Drive-In (an example of an AtDi song with great lyrics)

Hunter by Björk

I haven't read the entire thread, these might have been posted before.

They ran in a similar circle to the Grateful Dead. The Band's last concert [The Last Waltz] was at Winterland, where the Dead played a bunch of times (including the final show at Winterland, which was recorded and released as both a video and a concert disc). Definitely got some of the same influences.

you should check Hawkwind's album Space Ritual, though
it's kinda like grateful dead meets deep purple or something similar
the real clincher for me was that lemmy was in hawkwind before he started motorhead

I for no good reason started playing Railroad Tycoon 2 again the other day. It has some great Blues/Bluegrass tunes:

You're pretty chill too, anyone with good taste in music is okay in my book. And woah that's awesome, definitely checking Hawkwind out.

@alejo nice animals as leaders, atdi and animal collective

sadly i have nothing to contribute this time
Thanks dude. You should give yourself a pat on the back for liking those bands too haha. I'm sure you'll find something to contribute soon, we seem to have compatible taste in music

Here are a few other contributions:

African Herbsman by Bob Marley & the Wailers

Skinny Love by Bon Iver

Tha Crossroads by Bone Thugs-N-Harmony

St. Apollonia by Beirut

Looks Just Like the Sun by Broken Social Scene (highly recommend this band)

Birthday by The Sugarcubes

Song starts at :08. This is the band Bjork was in when she was younger. It's live and they do a really good job with this song, especially Bjork. Amazing belting skills and primal growls make her performance really stand out. She's also really hot here, looking sexier than ever. Video's a little dark though, might have to turn up the brightness to see clearly. Enjoy.
